8:32 The demonstrator is very clear, speaks well. This is important to me, as a deaf person, thank you, love Janome!

Have had my machine for nearly a year - your video is the best Ive watched teaching me about my machine in depth - very comprehensive and love you actually show us the feet in use and the little details about each stitch. Thank you - I have lots pf problems attaching the even feed foot like you have shown so good to see its not only me -

Hi Alba, thank you for this tutorial. I have this machine and really love it, your tutorial has shown me more of what it’s capable of and yes, it does give very professional results. The only thing I noticed is that you were saying it has a maximum speed of 800 stitches a minute, it was marketed here in Australia as 1000 spm, but really it doesn’t matter, it’s pretty damn fast either way. This machine has a heap of wonderful features, and I look forward to years of sewing with it. Thank you again. God bless.

what a great video. everything is so clear. I've been using Singer sewing machines for the last 45 years, so it was difficult for me to move to Janome. With this video it will be effoftless 🙂

Excellent job on this demo! Looking for a more comprehensive machine as I've outgrown my little Janome 3160. You've done such a good job explaining the in's and out's of this machine that I ordered one and arrived today. Really looking forward to getting to know my new buddy!

Thank you, great tutorial. Please do one about buttonholes as I’ve been having troubles even after few years of buying this machine. I’ve followed the instructions but the needle jumps or sometimes it stops sewing the second side or sews a smaller buttonhole than the button I put in the foot.

Thank you for the demo of this machine. I love mine. Does Janome have a foot for ruler quilting?

Yes we do, for most models. Please see your authorized Janome dealer to purchase one for this 9mm, high-shank 8200QCP machine. Happy Sewing!

Thank you so much for this VERY informative video. You have convinced me to buy this machine. I am wondering if the snap on feet from my janome 6300 would also work on this machine? Also, I see that you have a smaller spool of thread on machine. Are you able to use a separate spool holder for a large spool of thread? Thanks so much for any info you can provide.
    Pam

The 8200 takes 9mm snap on feet so the 6300 will not work with this.

I use a separate spool holder for the larger cones of thread I use with this machine and it works very well!

Would you recommend 8200 or 6700p? They are about the same price but you get more goodies with 6700p.

The 6700 is no 21:06 t a free arm style machine and 8200 & 8900 both are. I use the free arm a lot!

What is the difference between this machine and the Skyline S7?
