Even though Filipino hospitality & kindness is not new to me, I have met many expats in Dubai and knew what to expect from the country's people. 🙏🏽

The side of the waterfall is incredible.
Cebu may be the most developed province in the Philippines but it is still very lush and green making it more attractive to wildlife such as these macaque monkeys.

Is this the tumalog falls, maybe this is the result of El niño, the water falling is reduced into dripping but still its unique cliff form gives its misty falling effect. 👍

The reason why tumalog is "dripping" is because there was no rain. If you come 1-2 days after a heavy rain, you will get a lot of water hehe

It's really nice to be with animals from the wild try to check about a bird sanctuary in alcoy which has the most species till now scientist are are still discovering new birds and I don't know if anybody is allowed to enter the sanctuary good luck take care

I am fascinated with the monkey feeding program but I just realized that they shouldn’t be allowing people to feed wild animals. It’s the same practice the fishermen in Oslob are doing with the whale sharks. Though the whale sharks are living in the wild, they can go wherever they want but feeding them everyday at certain times make them come back. It takes away their nature to hunt and feed on their own in the wild. The whale sharks are not as wild as when you encounter them in the deep sea as they’re already used to humans

Too bad that the waterfall had less water coz its summer. If it had rained a few days before then it would be magical like th the one in the movie avatar. But u are seasoned traveler so u know sometimes things dont turn out well.
the amount of water falling depends on the weather beforehand.
had you come there after a rain or storm will determine how much water falls
look at other videos of tumalob falls and you will see differences
it looks so majestic when there’s full waterfall
Tumalog Falls is always a gentle waterfalls. It doesn't pour tremendous amount of water even in rainy days. I checked on the images in google and it confirmed my suspicion. My logic for that is that the swimming area is pretty shallow everywhere. It means that the water dropping is not powerful enough to make the swimming area deep. It is shallow everywhere which points to a gentle waterfalls.

He could have taken a scooter ride since he gave money already. There’s an option of a back and forth scooter ride. You just have to look for his number when you’re ready to go back to the main entrance. Again, I noticed Davud doesn’t give the operator chance to explain as he usually keep on cutting the guy by asking questions. Let him finish first what’s the deal and how it is then ask question later.
