A bit of background to this amazing beautiful song...James and his father are former officers in the British military. I believe James was a tank commander in Kosovo. I don't know how he managed to do this, but apparently, this was the first time he'd sung it to his dad who at the time had been diagnosed with terminal stage 4 kidney cancer. James' record company insisted he used 'Auto-Tune' for this one off recording, but he absolutely refused, because he wanted this to be real and meaningful, so you can understand his voice wavering slightly towards the end. I think we can all forgive him that much. Thank God, they managed to find a donor to match his kidney and he's still very much with us, but when this was recorded, the picture was looking very bleak obviously. I do fully understand your reaction. It's the same one as so many of us hearing this amazing, beautiful song. I must have heard this 100 times and I still blub every time. God bless.

Good News. They found a donor and the surgery went well, and he has recovered.
