Hello from the UK, great video, it helped me replaced the back cover which was all broken up (purchased from Ali Express but made by Bayer who also made the original). Whilst I was in there I also gave it a clean up.
U should have told to disconnect battery from the board before doing anything else. I ended up touching metal screw driver to the board and ultimately frying it. Cut down any electric supply from the circuit before working on any electronics. Lesson learnt the Hard Way. Watching back this video....u have done it but didn't mention in the video.

Hi, product specifications do not include m.2 SSD as a storage options so there is no expected slot available in the board to place one. The current HDD maybe changed with a SATA SSD instead. Have a nice day!
Been looking at others' innards of specifically z51-70 80k6. Yours is manufactured in December 2015, while another youtuber's was in September 2015, and mine (same exact model) in October 2015. Yours and the other users visually match, in mother board, and in heatpipe design. Whereas mine seems to have a single heatpipe, or at least a skinnier one. And the layout of the mobo, specifically chips placed between the cpu heatpad and fan differ between yours+everyone else with same model, and mine. The model is supposed to contain R7M360 2gb gpu, and apparently it does, according to BIOS info, h.w.info in windows environment, but as soon as I 'lshw' in debian, it shows r7 m260 for the chip. If this is your laptop, and we have matching (alleged) specs, aside from RAM, and SSD, could we please share some benchmark values, such as temperatures, Furmark scores, I'd appreciate. Never found benchmarks z51-70 80k6, was perplexed by lshw gpu name not matching BIOS info (many months ago), and (recently) hit 84 Celcius doing some gaming (don't frequently), which coerced my youtube queries for disassembly-- to clean--- and noticed my heatpipes are all skinny, and mobo doesn't match, others' z51-70 80k6 's. Could be slight updates in mobo/heatpipe design, but both yours (build in December, the other one built in september 2015, appears to have same mobo, and heatpipe config, which differs from mine). TL;Dr: both the laptop in this video, others' videos of same exact model, have different chip configuration on motherboard, and wider, split cooling pipes, than the one i own, despite same exact model and manufacturing date within 3 months of yours and other youtuber's.

I can't believe how hard this case is to remove! Uh, so where's the damn battery??? I would think you should (normally) disconnect the battery BEFORE you remove the HDD or any other static-sensitive component. You were pretty good at disassembly - so why not show how to put it back together again? My laptop is not booting into Win 10 and the warranty ran out 4 months ago. So, I will remove HDD, copy all important data, they put Win 10 back onto drive via USB thumbdrive. Hopefully, this goes well. If not ... time to buy new laptop. I am very disappointed in how un-userfriendly the Lenova is to get to main paints like, 1) battery, 2) stick memory, 3) HDD.
Hi, I think cheapest solution "reflow", cheap solution "rebaling" and replace graphic chip a litle expensive solution :) (I reflowed my "dead" graphic chip, but not dead, in most cases is only soldering problem.) Have a nice day!
Fenyutas most people I have talked to have said that the graphics card for this laptop is imbeded into the motherboard and cannot be replaced and if it can be replaced are amd gpus for laptop separately available for purchase?
Yes, the gpu integrated, but replacable by an expert. Yes, available for purchase separetly! Cost of the chip about 40$ + fee of the expert! (or complete motherboard 3-400$) Have a nice day!

Can someone tell me how to remove the battery. It looks like, the connectos are soldered to some chip.
Able to pull off the black plug from the metal case, by slowly pushing from sides and top surface using a screw driver
