Does opening the laptop like that will affect my general data for example desktop files , i have a battery issue and my laptop need alot of cleaning so i handle it to an expert but Im afraid of lossing my data . It won't affect right

Calm down on the thermal paste. You should not need that much. Remember that it spreads out. Just apply a dot and let it spread out on its own. This also avoids air pockets.
