Finley is such a mess....where did she think this conversation would really go! Really felt for Dani when she said she's tired of people feeling like she has it together all the time
It seems like Finley wants Dani's blessing so that she can feel less guilty about continuing to sleep with Sophie after she screwed her over and ruined their wedding. All Dani wanted was some space and time away from Finley and Sophie, but they both keep trying to talk to her and end up rubbing salt on Dani's wounds.
@@ekuz986 This is exactly what keeps on happening. They both just need to leave Dani alone. I don't think Sophie is going to be truly happy with Finley...but oh well! I's her L!

What makes me more mad is when Finley and Sophie are outside they laugh about Finley approaching Dani. Shit is so disrespectful.

So I think it’s safe to say that Finley is going to get arrested for a dui. She drinks when she’s hurting or feels bad and this conversation probably made her feel like shit. That flask in her jacket was nearly empty by the end of the night.
Dani is right; Finley is not truly sorry. She won Sophie but it was at the cost of Dani’s feelings. Finley might have wished it could have gone a more civilized way, but based on how the couple act in public and in private, she definitely doesn’t feel bad that It panned out the way it did in the end.
And yeah Sophie and Finley have passion together, but I think Finley is starting to realize that keeping Sophie is going to take more work then just having sex all the time.
That’s pretty much all Finley has to offer; affection and sex. She doesn’t have a steady job. She’s always crashing at someone else’s house and she has no real ambitions. She even said she fine with being a homemaker while Sophie supports her.
Finley is a big kid. She doesn’t even know how to try to start to be an adult. She went to Dani for a cheat sheet on Sophie vs Finley figuring it out for herself. Another reason why she isn’t sorry. Finleys apology was just a cover in order to talk to Dani about Finley’s issues with adulting.
She wanted to talk about improving herself for Sophie instead of sincerely apologizing to Dani.
God…This show. The writers are making it very easy for me to despise Sophie and Finley. Was that their intention???
I think they maybe wanted to be realistic and show someone who is selfish and emotionally stunted. I couldn’t stand Finley from day 1 because she has zero ambition. She’s a leach. Worse is she pulls people down with her. Dani is a great character. 10x smarter, emotionally mature and has her shit together.
You said everything I was thinking. I'm binging this show now, just finished S2 and couldn't be more frustrated with Sophie and Finley. How is it they still have all their friends and everything's fine for them after what they did to poor Dani? She's the one that got cheated on and humiliated at her own wedding and has lost almost everything. Even Bette, her idol and former boss, has betrayed her and destroyed her career. I'm so sick of how unfair everyone is being to her. She's having a horrible time and the only one who gives a shit is Gigi. And yes, I also noticed that literally all Finley offers Sophie is sex. That is so unsustainable and toxic. And then when Sophie gets mad at her for drinking, Finley immediately gets defensive and passive-aggressively guilty, like "Yeah, I know, I'm a fuck up." I kinda liked her in S1, but now I'm just tired of her.
How can one be so insensitive towards someone after stealing their fiancé? Did she seriously asked for a hug?
Simple psychology. Finley (besides being a narcissist) is emotionally stunted, yet self aware enough that she’s self conscious. But she’s the worst character. There’s no growth. She’s just aimless & obtuse.
Finley has no accountability for her actions!
I cannot stand this storyline for Finley.

Well at least Dani didn't punch Finley, or give her the silent treatment and even told Finley to go get her girlfriend. To me, that's great progress between Dani and Finley.

Not really since there relationships are totally different, the way Bette treated Gigi was uncalled for, but Finley kinda deserves this one since neither she or Sophie seem to be able to give Dani her space.
@@nightnaughty I agree....but I'm adding things I saw in season 1 also, and dani was kinda straight shooter no nonsense and bette was like u gotta tone it down in not so many words..because I felt she saw herself 😅....also I just want them to be together (bette and dani) but I want slow burn but intense...wishful thinking 🤷♀️

I don't know, for some odd reason, I get a feeling that these two might hook up in future. Because, any coupling is possible in L word, given all the odd and totally unexpected hook ups in OG show.
Why not ? These two are the most hot looking cast members among younger lot.
Either Finley may probably get into college and become successful or get a respectful job, become an "adult" and check Dani's boxes or Dani may stop being such a snob.
No disrespect for Dani here, it's just that "boss lady" thing is a big turn on for Dani. And I understand it, coz I kinda resonate with Dani on that one. Being smart, driven and being in a position to control things is a big turn on for me.
We need these two to interact more! There is so much there to unpack! I can feel it! This scene is proof of that! They are complete opposites, and I love that!! And also, I ship them. 🤭 (I shipped them way before the show even premiered. I always thought that Finley was going to be Dani's love interest or something. And I thought they would interact more in the show but they didn't, until now. I really hope they have more scenes together! I think these two would be really great together and definitely a power couple.) They would balance each other out and help each other grow.
They wouldn’t be a power couple-Finley doesn’t have power. Just because Finley is intimidated and also admires Dani doesn’t mean they should date. And Dani would never date Finley who is basically a screw up. There’s no chemistry there. And sometimes things don’t need to be unpacked. It doesn’t need to be talked to death. Finley can do that by herself in therapy. She needs to leave Dani alone. Dani doesn’t owe her anything-including her time. Probably an intense reply but people like Finley exist and Finley would only pull Dani down. She’s not mature enough. Finley would essentially always be asking Dani to slow down so she could keep up.

I’m guessing she was probably arrested or something before and she didn’t tell Sophie about it. Maybe something happened when she moved back home in between seasons

Didn’t she say she got sober when she went home? She relapsed in the episode when Micah told her Sophie was with Dani.
