Reminded me a lot of Prison Architect in the graphics and UI. Then you said that it doesn't take long for it to become repetitive, and that's exactly like Prison Architect lol

just started playing this, picked it up in spring steam sale, enjoyable but i do feel the waiting comment is spot on. I do think the humour is likely missed by most in the game and i get the sense you might not have quite appreciate certain bits of the game or focused elsewhere. I personally prefer this to the ideology dlc for rimworld i enjoy rimworld but the DLC didn't feel like a good fit to me, I think with a little time and some good modders this could be a really solid title, it does need a little work and i think the progression is a bit janky, which is what causes the waiting mechanic, even very poor followers seem to need a lot, who knows maybe i just need to get better!

as someone who played this as their first colony sim (so i played on the easiest difficulty) , it felt like a decent genre intro but i can see how it may overstay it's welcome a lil bit
