Last night, I went to sleep with your roleplay playlist going. And this video REALLY took me to a super relaxed place. Probably my favorite from you for "technical ASMR". (And the swamp goblin might be my favorite RP from you.)
Wonderful video Ann, very relaxing. I didn't know if you had tried any character-based videos, because I had the idea for a masked ASMR superhero (in the style of The Incredibles or Batgirl) that I think could be fun. The premise would go something like this. The viewer would be injured or distressed by a villain, but you would show up to help, using your superpowers of ASMR. Throughout the video, the viewer would ask who you really were, but you would tell them how important it is that you wear your mask, and keep your identity a secret, but, at some point, you would trust the viewer enough, to unmask yourself and show them who you really are. I think you would do an awesome job. Keep up the great work.
I really enjoyed the sound design that you put into this. The reverb that you put into some of the different crystals was really relaxing. It’s especially great when wearing headphones. I get the feeling that you wanted to experiment with more sound layers in your videos. Well, it turned out great. One question: between takes at the beginning of the video, it looks like you fade to black and back in. Did you edit your takes first before doing chroma key and adding the background? If so, direct cuts without crossfade might be better in the future. Anyhow, thank you for your performance, Ann! And if there’s anybody else working with you on this, please tell them thank you as well!
