Wow just found yas, from just accross the syr8 hello will hit up your bricklink shop, I'm sure we will find something for our setup and our lads one 2, awesome channel
13:25 That also have happened for me, but luckily only once, I since began to pack one order at a time and then write the buyers name on the box/envelope so I don’t mix them up
Yes I do that normally too but had quite a few orders to get through after camp - The classic example of trying to do things quicker to save time, but in the end it causes you issues and more time. A tired brain is not a good order picker!
Bionicle sells pretty well for me, especially the torsos, the big weapons and cool faces. I think I saw some hero factory which doesn’t sell at all for me
@ thanks for the response :) was thinking of starting one up but wanted to make sure I’m doing everything legally and wondering if it’s a good idea to register as a sole trader.
Yeah chat with an accountant to make sure. Will depend as well what you file under if it’s additional income or full time etc. Just be prepared for a lot of work if you do open one!
This is the ultimate question :D It's a combination of everything - passion, money maker & investment. It's not a "lets aim for this hourly rate". It is a lot of work to setup, a lot of work to build, and a lot of work to pick. But now we have regular customers, regular orders and things continue to improve! We will break this all down in our one year selling video coming December 2024 :D
Thanks for the shout buddy! Always great to check out your vids! Thanks for hanging out with us ❤
No worries mate :) appreciate it

Thanks! Appreciate it
Great vlog. You definitely work hard. I like that you show chaos in the store and postage drama. Makes it more relatable.
Thanks! It’s not always smooth sailing and things aren’t good 100% of the time. Anyone who tells you that is only showing the good bits.

Cool thanks - funnily enough have still not quite got to it yet 😂 too many good purchases to go through
Do you need to file your income to the IRD for tax purposes? Or is this something you don’t really need to worry about with the size of your store. :)
It will depend on each store but we do have to pay tax.

Is this more a passion than a money maker? Must be a lot of work for revenue you get.

@kiwibrickexchange nice one. Best of luck with your plans. I'm just back into Lego through my 4 year son. Passion and investment for him. Good luck.
Thanks appreciate it. Yes can be both! We started the same way with the wee one :)
