It's honestly a fun change of pace to see a top speed player describe the way they practiced speed as "yeah I just kept playing speedy maps and got better" (which is what i do) as opposed to making an entire schedule to practice and kinda killing the fun imo
I am one of the ppl that uses mouse with their right hand and pen with left hand. I switched to tablet when I was still a low 6 digit or even 7 digit. I didn't really care about the fact that I had to relearn tapping because at the time I thought that alternating was better than singletapping. I now know that a lot of ppl singletap but I really had a problem where I used to single tap the bursts. Pretty sure I made the right choice but I understand that for a speed player or any player that is below 250k, switching aiming style and tapping hand is really not good for your improvement speed.
I wonder if it would ever be possible for one of these spotlight players to actually talk about these things in the video themselves. Not like an interview or anything, but maybe if some of the experiences were to be told by them. It could switch between you and them, from a ‘They did that’ to an ‘I did this’ perspective. I guess this only works if someone were to agree to this, but I think it would be pretty cool
