Like you (and it was evident), I'm well excited, too. The possibilities it opens are numerous! I've signed up! Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Paul C.
Got on the beta list... YAY! Only trouble is I'm unable to download the plugin... keep getting a "File not found. Go to shop" error message when I click on the download link. Hopefully, I'll get it resolved after the weekend.
Looks great. I love the Dynamic Tags in Bricks Builder. The additional filtering and formatting options in this plugin will hopefully light a fire under Thomas and Co to do the same :)
After watching your video, I'm curious to know how this would run with GP and Generate Blocks paid versions with just Gutenberg? Right now my +90 mobile pagespeedinsights scores are smoking Elementor Pro... but this new versatility has been the missing link. Cool! This seems like a challenging skill to perfect, but you do a great job with your explanations. The usability is beyond imagination now. These are the types of innovations that will make all page builders obsolete and bring WP back to the top... especially as AI is evolving right there with it. Crazy days ahead, cheers!
This is one of those things that's so useful and straightforward that I have that reaction that's sort of like... "Wait, why wasn't it like this all along?"
This seems like the way Bricks Builder has already been handling dynamic data for a long time now. It’s very useful, so this will be great for builders outside of Bricks.
If you got the dev ear sort of speak - please ask them to give the opportunity to move the menu item under "tools" or "settings". This is just too obstrusive. Either way - love the tutorial and awareness to the plugin! TY Paul!
The most annoying limitation that I find in Elementor is that it can not pull dynamic data from a nested custom field, such as a checklist. Will this help?
Thanks for the videos! Could you use this to add to html? I’ve got an event checkout html that I need to enter who bits of dynamic content into. (Url) and eventid the rest of the html stays the same. Hope that made sense.
Before learning wordpress, i coded most of my sites cool features using js/sql/php so i can see where your coming from with this! This would be like boat loads of classes, giving us access to call up any infromation for back and frontend.. Thanks for the share pal ;)
Hi Paul, you nentioned to launch an entire tutorial for this plugin as soon as its launched. Now, it is already launched ... where do I find the entire tutorial you mentioned? Please provide link. Thank you.
I have multiple shortcodes and want to display them only one at a time with functionality after selecting from drop-down, but every time it is showing text only and not functioning. Please suggest.
This is exciting - looks like it could be really handy. However, I did use DC for E for a while and it was absolutely crushing my sites. Seemed like the plugin was very heavy. This can't be that way, right?
By the very nature of this plugin it should be relatively light weight in comparison to Dynamic Content for Elementor. Once the final is released, it will be good to test the impact on a sample site. 🤘🏻
You said it yourself, these are basic examples... but from what I know, Bricks can do all that easily... Now, do you think: 1) that this is/will be compatible with Bricks; 2) if so, that it will allow us to go further than what we can already do with it...
Neat! I wish you had scrolled down further on that list of available shortcodes to see what it can do other than just displaying fields. Guess I'll have to sign up for the beta haha! I'd also be curious to see what effect this has on performance since I'd imagine that enabling shortcodes in the post content area would mean that the plugin would then need to process the entirety of every single post/page on the site on every page load just to see if it contains any shortcodes. Do you have any info on how that works and whether the shortcodes are indexed by the plugin in some way?
Also does this create a new individual query every time a shortcode is run? So if I tried to display a dozen fields from outside the current post, it would create a dozen individual queries? Sounds like it'd tank the performance of any site that tried using this system at scale. I've got to say though, inventing a custom syntax to get around the flaws in the native WordPress shortcode processing system is pretty smart. I'm curious to check out the beta to see how they're prioritizing performance. Maybe they're just expecting people to only use this product on small-scale sites where performance is less of a concern.
@@benjamintracy1926 hi Benjamin, thank you for your interest! Consider all this is already done by WordPress' Shortcodes and they are very lightweight. One of our primary goals is to be of a similar base impact on perfomance, so very close to no impact at all.
@@dynamic_ooo Thanks for the response and congrats on this interesting plugin! Was my assumption correct that each individual shortcode represents an individual database query when you're dealing with data outside the current page (user data for example)?
@@WPTuts Really wish they would add elementor form repeater field to their plugin. I've always wanted to purchase this plugin but the lack of repeater field has really been discouraging. Used the plugin at my former workplace on a project and it was amazing but i work with repeater fields a lot and having this feature in the form will help reduce the number of plugins I'd have to use.
We purchased this plugin late last year and experienced a few issues. In fact we had to disable and remove the plugin and custom develop our functionality instead. Please don't let this put new purchasers off, but we did have to go back and forth with these guys for over three weeks before they realised it was a bug in their plugin. I understand what they are delivering is quite technical and advanced for Elementor, but it does come with a few potential support issues. Hopefully they are on top of their support now.
Kinda looks like a ripoff of the Custom Content Shortcode plugin which is no longer available, sadly -I used it for years. It had everything shown in the video + some awesome advanced features such as loops and conditions. And it was free.
UUUGHHH, I have watched so many of his videos and he just never hits the mark for me. Like why would you do a video of dynamic data only to use a button and still have to input the whole URL? I was hoping to see a dynamic example where you just use the info after the forward-slash. Your content is just not good!! so frustrating Edit: And I see you keep deleting my reply but as I said, it is funny how you replied to this comment, yet I had left comments before asking for help and you never responded. You don't respond to your subscribers so not only is your content botched and crappy, but so is your attitude.
@WPTuts hmm it's funny how you replied to this post but I have left several comments on your other videos asking for help and no reply. Not only does your video such, so does your attitude. Crappy content.

The abilty in Oxygen to insert dynamic data is fantastic but I think this will just extend that option even further. Looking forward to the release.
Finally! I cannot wait to be able to test and deploy this!

Superb tutorials. Thank you.
This is actually a great plugin, have long time to see something so innovative. Is amazing that supports Gutenberg, opens many many doors there.
Awesome. Can’t wait!
Your videos are cutting edge, thanks for the upload!

How much of this will be available in the free version?
This indeed will be such a Game Changer! Do you know the release date Paul? Thanks for bringing this to our attention! 🤩
I don’t just yet. I’d suggest getting on the beta list if possible to test it out. 😎
The most annoying limitation that I find in Elementor is that it can not pull dynamic data from a nested custom field, such as a checklist. Will this help?
This is very interesting. Great video Paul, as always!
Can it access dynamic data from other installed plugins? example: an event plugin 👍
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe so. That being said, I could see them adding support for popular plugins in the future.

What plugin do you use nowadays to do Dynamic Content? This video is a bit old and there’s so many other plugins that can do this now.
Dynamic Content for Elementor already has this feature. Been using it for a while. Although it no so straight forward as it is now
This is from the same company. It’s dynamic tokens with some additional features but as a standalone plugin.
