I'm a Hawkeye fan; but being from Iowa, I'm really glad to see the Cyclones doing so well. We didn't get a chance to play them this year; but who knows? If Iowa beats Wisconsin next week, maybe we'll see an Iowa Bowl matchup.
I would LOVE that to happen! Imagine ISU - Iowa at the Alamo Bowl. If it weren’t for COVID restrictions, any bowl that could do this would surely sell out.

I'm a lifelong Oklahoma fan. And I admit Iowa St. deserved both of those matches against the Sooners in 2020. OU played like @$$ in the second half of the big 12 championship. Plus there were some really questionable calls at the end. I'm glad my boys have another conference title to keep the streak going, but deep down I feel that ISU deserved the 2020 season. They've shown so much improvement and the way they work together as a unit is pretty entertaining. Oklahoma may have a new Rival. Which is cool with me. Texas has been getting a little boring, and I'm not sure we can really call OSU a rival anymore. 😂

I am cautiously optimistic...I think both teams are hitting their strides. I think OU fans are a little overconfident...Matt Campbell rarely gets blown out and many Sooner fans think that it won't be close
@@brantphillips9133 I think the OU team that lost earlier this year to Iowa St is not the same OU team that is playing now. Not sure if OU fans are overconfident but the team has won 6 consecutive Big 12 titles, right?
If anything I think Iowa St fans are very overconfident and mostly because they think winning the game vs OU will lead to a big 4 playoff game, LOL!
@@javtimestwo we know we have no chance at the playoff, we just want a NY6 bowl...OU fans have said they will beat us by 3 TD’s. Matt Campbell almost never gets blown out and he always prepares well for OU. We’ve also won 5 straight so both teams are riding high at the moment
@@brantphillips9133 curious who these OU fans are who said that because they seem to be taking the season 1 game at a time and only tonight did the team defeat Baylor to clinch a spot in the title game. anyway, OU has the experience and the early season match up really does not mean much in the title game.
@@javtimestwo just a lot of OU fans on social media (Twitter, Reddit, etc.) I understand the regular season matchup doesn’t mean much in the context of the championship game but it at least shows the we are capable of beating OU

I'm a Sooners fan myself, and I have to say that is not going to happen. It's going to be a game. ISU may even win. Just depends who wants it more.
