For anyone who might not know this: The „yarn over slip stich“ will be called a half double crochet in basically every other tutorial. It’s like the „official name“ of the stitch. I really don’t mean to hate, just wanna make other videos easier to understand for everyone

You can use any that you are comfortable with
Suppose you are using a 4mm hook then go with a yarn that is not big but not small for the hook size
While buying yarn you can check what hook size you should get to go with it on the label
