Great cream that is but for some reason my Royal Forest is in a white tub with the green label? The used my semogue 830 the other day and being used to synthetic brushes I forgot how important it is to soak natural hair. I find if you don’t soak (especially badger) the brush for at least 5-10min it tends to soak up the lather making me use more cream to get the same lather. Just my experience but I could be wrong
I love the efficiency and smoothness of the Rocca. However, every time I used it I feel like I over-shaved. I'm still getting used to it (and wet shaving in general). I'd never use it for a quick shave.
Hi! I was thinking of you today and laughing as I knew you have a feast of shaving videos from me. It’s been a while and I remember you asked me to make more and try a slant! Well I’ve a Fatip slant on the way now. As for aligning the blade on a Fatip, I don’t really worry about it to be honest as I’ve never had a bad shave with one in 8 years! You line up the blade to the comb not the cap is what I’ve heard! Fatips are not that bad, they’re brass, cheap but good. I wouldn’t quibble about the finish for the price. Anyway, happy new year and thanks for watching.
@@KRAZEEIZATION Thanks man, you too. i subscribed to your channel because of the shaving vids to begin with that's why i've been asking. i own the piccolo open comb and its a nice razor. i also had the fatip closed comb which i didn't like at all. that one was a horrible razor. hopefully more shaving vids coming from you in 2021! have a good one man.
Hi, I saw that. I’ll probably grab one down the line, pity it’s chrome as it looks like the original, I’d like a satin finish and I’m holding out for one!
@@KRAZEEIZATION I like the idea of being able to just buy the replacement head or the grande version so I can switch around head's. And if I really get into the whole DE thing I was gonna get the R94 set as it looks really nice.
@@KRAZEEIZATION maybe I'll skip the R41 then and go from the R89 to the R94 once I get the hang of it. @@90Flip90 Yeah. Start mild then work your way up. Use a feather touch when starting with the DE89 to avoid razor burn. Go gently. They’re heavier than carts.
@@KRAZEEIZATION Thanks for the quick reply. I never shave ATG, neither on my neck nor ony head for comfort reasons. Does the Fatip hav an efficiency advantage when going only wtg and xtg?
Hey there, bought the lo storto. Most Forum comments suggest, it's as efficient but smoother then the Grande. I find it to be a lot more agressive, more blade feel, much more exposure. Do you feel the same?
@@myhandletre3 Hi, Gillette and Wilkinson sword are rival companies but in India they have been amalgamated for some reason...those blades are made in India 👍
Good to see you again. I based my decision of buying the R41 6 years ago on your video. No regrets.
Hi!
See the stainless model? ☠️
@@KRAZEEIZATION yes I've seen it!
Good to see you back!
I still remember your semogue 830 video from years ago.
Nice review of the Rocco!
Thank you!

Funny you should say that about over-shaved. It’s a very different razor than most. Takes a while to get used to it.
@@KRAZEEIZATION For me personally, it was love at first shave. The Rocca plus feather blades equals the best combination of closeness and comfort.
Is your Fatip Piccolo from the first generation? those are also aggressive like your old R41.....the Rocca is much smoother, I like it.
The R41 is the most aggressive from 2011. Fatip is from 2012 and aggressive but smooth. The R94 is the best of the lot!
I guess Muhle listened to you and made stainless steel R41 😉
how do you fix the alignment of the fatip piccolo? do you adjust the blade or just put in the blade and go?

@@BeautyofScent There will be more soon! Did you buy the Fatip Gentile? Is that the closed comb? I was tempted as it’s €20. Is it very mild?
@@KRAZEEIZATION ya the testina gentile. it was very mild and also you had to align the blade every time. more than the open comb version.

The current version of the R-41 (2013 model) is smoother than your R-41. Still very efficient but easier to shave with.
I wish they’d do a stainless R41 original for the 10th anniversary!

Here's a blade for you to try. Gillete Wilkinsons Swords, they're much cheaper than feather blades
That’s two different blade companies Wilkinson-Sword and Gillette?
