I will never understand why porters get so little respect. If the people had to carry their own gear, they would never accomplish anything! I know it is a lazy writer's tool of showing arrogance and hubris, but seriously. The porter of the party is someone you cherish. No one looks down on them. They're looked down on in manga because they need to get the story started in the same way 50,000 other stories got started. They're just copying that story opening regardless of how much it makes sense.
When people save someone from a disaster or accident with force they become heroes.
Nobody praises the nurses and surgeons who save lives without putting them selves in the same kind of harm.
It's why athletes are more popular than 99% of all scientists who are responsible for everything we have and know today.

Too much righteousness in a protagonist is so irritating, saving a person with proven track record of killing people by make them bait in dungeon, and he's like Nah I can't let him die so he can keep on killing. The stupidity is ridiculous.
It's disgusting to watch, really. It'd be one thing to save the guy so he can be tried and go to prison. Yet, doing it just because 'I can't let him die.' is just disgusting. Something. I appreciate your narration. I have come across similar channels like yours that narrate these mangas, but their script is atrocious! When i just listen to their narration, i wouldnt know WTF was going on. Problems include the narrator keeps changing from 1st person to 3rd person POV, keeps changing which character is speaking WITHOUT stating who is speaking (so imagine the narrator suddenly saying "I" without saying who is speaking), or COMPLETELY misinterpreting what the characters are saying. In the end, their narration actually takes away from their video than if they just shut up and just upload the manga as a slide show

Those channels use AI to analyze the story and then run it trough text to speech... That analyzer AI does make mistakes like calling a kick a punch..like was in this recap and i'm fairly certain i have hear this voice in many recaps, so it too might be AI just bit better quality than most... Still even if its human effort, cutting the story middle of conversation is just outrageous editing...

Yuup. That's number 6 for, Story starts with weak MC that carries everyone's stuff and gets betrayed as they use the MC as bait for the monster. Followed by the MC immediately becoming Overpowered after less than 2 chapters.
I'd be perfectly happy with that setup if the MC wouldn't just ALWAYS weakly 'let things go' or even 'I have to help them cuz they're people' or some crap like that. I don't need a bloody revenge-filled murder arc but can't the MC be allowed to have actual balls for once? "My word is stronger than yours." "Cool. Let's both tell our stories, and we'll let the guild figure out who's lying since you blatantly claimed you saw me die."

Personally, I'd be fine with it if it was true righteousness. Instead, it's the fake form of it where characters 'have to do the right thing' but the right thing is based on modern sensibilities. Dude straight up tried to feed him to giant rats to save his own skin, and he just rolls over and shows his underbelly, then saves the guy's life. What they friends now? Gonna have a bbq together, slam some brews? Weak mentality, all around.
author should have not written MC to save his betrayer. this sends a naive message to readers. realistically letting someone like that roam around will just result in them harming other innocent people. not cool man
