Just found your video. Mine began to gradually stop producing ice. Occasionally I would hear it drop ice and refill. Now it won’t dump ice at all, even in diagnostic mode it won’t rotate. I’m a year past the warranty.
If you run into the problem of not being able to get out of test mode like I just did, you hold FF + for 10 seconds and it will reset the fridge and power back up. You’re welcome.
I just did these tests. Looks like to get it out of diagnostic mode you have to unplug the fridge for 30 seconds. I found it easier to just shut off the breaker for 30 secs.
First, thank you for your diagnostic videos. Very helpful. Maybe I was not clear in my question. I meant it won't dispense ice thru door when not in diagnostic mode. It will work manually in diagnostic. Also once somehow a few cubes fell into the bin on the door and when I pushed the paddle with cube selected, it tripped the dispenser system to work. Weird. If you did get what I was saying originally and still need to replace entire ice maker, sorry for this 2nd post. I will live with scooping the ice for a while!😁
My unit passes all these tests but will not fill the ice hopper. How does it measure when to fill or not make ice? Manual says 2.5 pounds in 24 hours based on need. Any help?
Yes it’s turned off. The way to turn it back on depends on the brand and model and usually involves pressing and holding a couple of buttons on the dispenser. Check the owners manual it may well tell you what to do.
Hi. We have a refrigorifer " frigidaire gallery side by side which is 1 year old, and now start showing: Er CE on screen. Even the water stop working now. Please can we fix this, and if yes, how ?? Thank you
Hes right frozen line is likely. They are well known for frozen lines and or evaporator. Open the door and depress the switches. If the ice maker fan growls probably frozen condenser. If it sounds fine likely frozen line. Roll it from the wall and turn the water off. Disconnect the green shark bite connector. You should easily blow through it towards the icemaker. Report back on the findings.

Unnecessary. Get out of that diagnostic mode by holding + for upto 10 seconds or it self exits if left alone 5 minutes

What about how to test ejecting ice. It makes ice fine but won't eject ice. Will eject manually in diagnostic mode but not once exiting diagnostics
If the freezer is cold enough and it is making ice but not ejecting you need to replace the ice maker

The proper temperature should be down near zero. Sounds like you have a cooling issue within the ice room.

The water is filling the ice tray and freezing, but the ice is not dumping out of the tray
If the freezer is below 10 degrees your ice maker needs to be replaced
