Hi Vlad - I find your videos so helpful - many thanks! Quick question - I have a slider piece within another piece that rotates (think of it as a slider piece within a door handle). I have set up both the pin and slider contraints correctly, but when drag the slider, the door handle piece also rotates. How do I set up so that when I drag the sliding piece, the door handle still remains fixed and doesn't pivot too (but I can pivot the door handle piece separately)?
Dear Rajesh, if you use drag function, system always move in all directions (you can check movement of the component. If you want to check only part of mechanism, you can lock and check different positions by drag functions or only simple define servo motor and set custom analysis. For your example I will choose lock function - I can try to find some example and show in upcoming tutorial ;) Bye Vladimir
Hi thanks for your idea... I use many times data from Grabcad.com (free to use) I will post direct link to the models. Thanks again. Stay tuned Vladimir
how can i name my part file. when i give same name to two different parts located in different folders it collapse the assembly of its own diagram what is a reason .how can i avoid it
Hi, if you have same names for two different folders, setup Working directory before opening the assembly. System will load objects only from WD. System can not read another folders without configuration option.
Very good, up to the point directly!
