Meet the Real Hero Behind Demonetization

- Anil Bokil & his Artha Kranti foundation came up with innovative ideas 18 years ago to resolve many economic problems in India. These included demonetization and dramatic overhaul of taxation. He based his ideas on what he calls "Hindu economics". He tirelessly promoted his proposal to many Indian leaders over the past 18 years, including Narendra Modi, Baba Ramdev, Nitin Gadkari and others.
Shri Bokil explains that: 1) Demonetization is incomplete without the rest of his proposal also being implemented. 2) GST is not a solution to problems, but done for political expediency. 3) Without further radical steps, these recent moves by the government will not solve the economic problems.
The purpose of this interview is to let him speak for himself so viewers appreciate this humble man who has received no recognition, while others have falsely been credit for developing the system of demonetization.

After watching this conversation, it is obvious that no mainstream media -- print/tv wants to interview Anil Bokil because of his revolutionary ideas to bring about a drastic change in Indian economy.
Those who are interested, please buy and read the book -- The Handbook of Hindu Economics and Business Edited by Hrishikesh Vinod. Subramanian Swamy was the star speaker when a conference was held on this topic. Anil Bokil, R. Vaidyanathan, etc. are some of the contributors in this book.
What was missing in this conversation is that different aspects of e-monetization are not discussed. Hope to see another video on this interesting subject in future.
Sri. Anil Bokil is a original thinker , revolutionary in his own way.Immediate need is for the Govt of India to study the. Plans in depth to evaluate the. Positive and negative effects( if there are any). The Indian Govt must also accord. recognition to his institute , as it has already about 25 years work emanating from there . Our request to the. Govt is to provide. Grants to the institute, study and prepare newer generations of experts. In this field..

An absolute must-see interview! What Shri Anil Bokil is indicating is that it's a long drawn exercise and will change the economical culture of the nation. I hope in 2019 Modi ji gets a more dynamic finance minister (Suresh Prabhu/Piyush Goyal) and sane economics advisors (Prof Vaidyanathan/ Dr Swamy/Arthkranti) we can then get to witness a well-oiled economy for the future decades.
I am curious though who is taking the credit for Demonetization? Are you implying S.G.? I think he was doing the job of explaining it to the clueless public and media who was going berserk. I feel Shri Bokil would have been very badly manipulated and misquoted knowing how devious MSM has become. But I hope Artha Kranti soon gets recognition by the government.
It is indeed a long drawn exercise as the cornerstone of his recommendation is that everyone has a bank account and uses online banking. This will take time. But even on that the govt has already initiated steps with Jan Dhan Yojna. It's heartening to see India's economic future is in such safe hands. Politics be damned.

My friend, economics is a very complex subject. Bokil has made many wrong assumptions.It is not difficult to talk so confidently like he is doing as if he knows exactly what is the problem. Even if you read some medical books, you can talk about one disease like a doctor, but in truth you are not a doctor. Bokil is a trained engineer who did a govt job. He may be right about the problems of our financial system, but his solutions are just coming out of an imagination.

Excellent interviewer. Razor sharp dissection of the demonetisation concept. It clearly reveals that the government isn't convenient to implement the concept in its entirety for economic growth but more interested in the benefits of cash acquisition which is counter productive for the economic growth of the nation. Who is reaping the benefits of a partial concept?

BTT ( Bank Transaction Tax) would be real One Nation One Tax and very simple and always better than GST.
WEALTH Tax is the best option like US not bbt, as people will stop baking.
Thats a stupid way to tax. BTT is regressive and BTT cannot be used to regulate demerit goods(tobacco etc)

I wish Anil Bokil ji ka phase system along with tax evasion follow kiya jaata. That was such a brilliant plan. There wouldn't be any need for people to acquire black money to save tax.

Rajiv ji, the moment I saw the thumbnail of the video showing Anil Bokil, I hit the like button. I am yet to listen to the conversation. I have seen this gentleman on News channels, he is outspoken about his ideas and emphasizes that he is not affiliated to any political party. Unfortunately, the media is hell bent upon proving that he actually favors the BJP and want to make him admit that demonetization was a failure, which it is not. Moving on to the video now.
BJP Govt as of now is very positive about the process of reformation in economy as a whole. Unfortunately BJP Govt has inherited such a bad situation of economy & resources from previous Govts for over 6 decades in spite of having a great MMS an renowned economist himself who has totally failed in reformation & bringing about change. However we all are looking forward for the change as envisaged by ARHTA KRANTHI wizard Sri Anil Bokil who has contributed in great measure in revival of cash less economy.

I have since Demonitisation using debit card for purchases in mega grocery stores and petrol bunk, rent, Taxes and also medical shops. This has greatly reduced my dependence on currency.

Why have the 2000 rupee notes not been phased out yet? The objective of demonetisation was to reduce corruption by maintaining smaller denominations and eliminating larger ones. This remains my only qualm in the reform which otherwise seems to have honest motives for improvement. Was demonetisation the only way to achieve economic reform? Could we have been able to build upon the older existing monetary framework instead? Anil Ji, I would really like to have your insights regarding the same. Rajiv Ji, thank you for conducting this interview. Quite informative, though a tad lengthy.
It is acceptable to Govt. I presume but the timing will be before 2019 elections.
That's why west is ahead of us.. We just follow the old ideas from west.. No support for new ideas and innovation..
Now if some western country implements then they'll reap the benefits of it...

Taxes will be abolished only when most of the country's income and transactions have become digital and transparent to the government. Taxes should not be removed before that or the country will lose revenue.

BTT is Automated Tax System. once it implement there wouldn't be any Income TAX, GST, VAT, Service TAX exist. hence All inflection will come down with prices by 30 to 40%.
Every Citizen would available any Loan max at 2 to 4% interest rate.

I mailed my suggestions to Arthakranti in 2012 consisting not more than 50 Rs. denomination, traceable notes, 1 % transaction tax.

Rajivji , decade back i have seen in Mumbai that the business men used demand drafts of Gujarat co op banks , same dafts used to be used like currency and finally tea shops would discount them for cash. I am not a business man . It was a very interesting model to be verified from business men.

It appears that Narendra Modi has taken the process in correct way, because if the process would had been slowed down according to the process advised introduced some intermediate steps by the Mr. Anil Bokil then the vested interest with help of illiterate mass would have made big noise and Modi might have been defeated Modi in UP.

i am just in awe with this guys. Every video of his is an eye opener for me and i believe for every Indian who wants to know their roots. He is empowering average Indian with the Grand India Narrative which was distorted deliberately by colonial rulers Nehru, leftist authors like Romila Thappr , westerners and more importantly their implanted sepoys for years. The govt still has a herculean task to correct the history books which treats our freedom fighters like Veer Sawarkar, Bhagat Singh and many more as terrorist. Sir,Huge amount black money converted to white during Demonetization, that should have monitored by FM or RBI.
Bokilji all points are okay but 1. interest on money transfers between your own accounts seems not not good, 2. I feel govt is unable to do complete e-monetisation because In India there are so many places and people who do not have access to electronic devices/media/banking knowledge etc., 3. I have heard there are many bankers who were involved in illegal practices during demonetisation itself,... how to control all these with heavy population? In many countries this may be possible because of thin population
In addition of below points 100% electrification, Fast Tag Mandatory on highways are signs that government is preparing right now, otherwise it would have been a great failure.

Rajiv ji, I am for Removal of the Income Tax.
But I have one major question? In India we have too much difference in the Salaries (some earn 2 Lakhs per Annam, some 50 Crores/annam ) .
There is no doubt high salaried people will spend more.. but they will be getting richer.. the low salaried one will keep getting same but he still be paying any transaction tax in small numbers.
Can we Introduce Dignity of Labour (Professionalism ) where we don't see so much difference in the salaries .. there will be marginal difference but not huge difference like right now. Will that lead to killing of innovation? does this become a part of socialism ?
