I have noticed that service and people’s willingness to speak English has changed since the lockdown. Parisians are even offering their help! 🤗

Ahhh Paris! Been there a few times and never encountered rude customer service so like you said, it's good to go and see it with your own eyes. My favorite place is Montmartre where the licensed street artists are painting - having your portrait painted on the spot is a lovely souvenir. I'm so happy you finally got to see some of your bucket list items and experience the city - and the cuisine and treats 😊Thank you for a wonderful and thoughtful travel vlog.

About the dog thing, it's really common in many cities in central europe to walk your dog without a leash and even if it's not legal you usually don't get in any trouble if your dog is well trained (the dog stays close to you, doesn't harass anyone and knows to stop before a street crossing)

Throwing chamberpot contents through the windows was actually illegal and you were obliged to keep your section of the street clean. People had deep cesspits in backyards, which were emptied by workmen, or they carried their buckets to the nearest stream flowing into the river, and emptied them there.

@@DAIKIFinlandLife This is definitely a good time of year to go to Paris - less tourists and overall lesser travel costs.

Konichiwa Daiki, I noticed you are very greedy, so next time you visit Paris, do not miss a cake shop called Mori Yoshida (the pastry cook is japanese) not too far from Les Invalides on Avenue de Breteuil 7th district. This is a wonderful adress with fair prices.
