I don't think Larry was a racist either but i noticed that racist people are more often than not going to be offended if you call them "Racist". Such a perfect metaphor for the world. Lee believes in giving him a chance and trying to save the life of a man he always hated. Kenny believes he is too far gone even if he doesn’t turn which is why he so easily bashes his head in with the cinder block. Lee and Kenny are usually always on the same side and are both arguably pretty good people. Lee believes that Larry can redeem himself and wants to give him a chance at life. Kenny thinks he is nothing but a problem and wanted to kill Duck the moment they met so why shouldn’t he return the favor as well. They’re both right. But in the end in this world, none of that will matter that split second of life for Larry was the world of the walking dead saying “ya there’s no redemption here, treat others as monsters and when the time comes some of them will treat you as a monster as well.” Just like Kenny did.

@@DomTheBomb I don’t necessarily agree with that. Isn’t it the case that in all possible runs by the end of the lee era Clem knows about the murder he committed? I guess the interaction when it’s clarified why Larry was a dick to lee specifically may have never been shown but it feels like a bit of a hole either way

Wasn't really a racist, he had a valid reason for not liking Lee, his real problem was that he treated others like shit. Especially Duck when he wanted to throw him out cause he thought he was bit. I know Clementine thought that because Lee had the option to say he was. But yeah.
I personally think Larry wasn't a racist, I think Larry was just a protective man with a bad attitude, remember Lee Evertt was a murderer before the apocalypse
