Dwight was always so complementary and supportive of Phil (from what I've always seen / read) and championed his solo career and getting out from behind the drums. But what a collective this group. With the early support of Tom Petty and of course Bill Pitcock. Can't imagine if they would have had a real shot at things. Tremendous talent. Sad to know that all are gone today (even Tom)
Absolutely killer live performance, toe to toe with any other rock of the day! This taping is not even ON the roster of DKRC vintage tape videos for viewing today(?) Don't know how you got your hands on this but thank you for posting!
Sad that the principal members of the Twilley Band, Phil, Bill and now Dwight are all gone. Terrific single this, in a fair and just world they woulda been huge.
God you are so gorgeous and talented phil seymour have all your songs on cd and vinyl . I have only your cd in my car its played everyday. now my twin 9year old granddaughters and 5 year old grandson asked me to buy them your cd which i have just bought one each for them ,they love all your songs also. R.I.P,. Phil Seymour you are missed everyday , From your number one fan from Sydney Australia
Shelter was weak...they could of snuck in there with Petty and Eagles...power pop was already there but needed a scene or genre definer...came later...clearly 3/5 years ahead
phil Seymour what a talent. just couldn't catch a break . precious to me for what its worth is one of my favourites 80s songs. ad I love em all...says alot :-)
For a low-res, crappy dub of a videotape, this is fantastic! I saw these guys a couple of times live, and then saw Twilley and Phil separately several times each. Both did some awesome solo stuff, but never better than together and with Bill Pitcock IV!! Amazing guitarist. I wonder if this is available in a clean form?
I just noticed there's a second drummer! I don't remember if they had a second drummer when I saw them, I highly doubt it. Did the 2nd drummer come about because of Kirschner's production team, or because Phil and Dwight wanted it?
my evaluation, after the fact, from just watching this currently, '21: - great drummer/vocalist - poor drummer, live performer (hence, back up drummer. thas ok, tho..many have done that) - great collaboration w/twilley hence, great performance on DK Rock Concert. and oh yeah, totally forgettable song as filler...until now. ~jmho~

I had the album. Very catchy melody and pop guitar riffa. SEYMOUR WAS GREAT SINGER WITH AMAZING VOICE.

😢
Bill Pitcock IV looking super cool and sounding great as usual, a very overlooked lead guitar talent.

Bill Pitcock IV ... Incredible! ... R.I.P. Billy
Not another like him anywhere.
Lucky enough to see them live and in a small club in S.F.!!!
I still love Phil on drums.RIP.

"Twilley don't mind " is just about a perfect album.
Can you imagine if the record company actually promoted them? Thanks for sharing this!! RIP Phil you are missed.

@Greg Hubbard If not, we would never have known about him outside the USA nor got Precious.
It was a hit in Australia oddly enough.
Best live video example of his work I've seen!
Hometown Tulsa band.
Billy IV + Phil = the Magic
Phil Seymour...... we barely knew ya
Bill Pitcock IV is the real deal.
Don't think I had ever seen these before! Great (and great live guitar!)!
Power Pop Perfection
Every chance I get I tell people about the fabulous guitar sounds and licks of Bill Pitcock IV. He is one of my all-time favorites.
2 years earlier, both of those guys had big smiles, and Tom Petty was playing on bass. But now notice they don't smile anymore
RIP Phil & Billy - Twilley was - is and always will be
Absolutely fantastic. Wish there was more Videos.
Speechless. Thanks.
Sweet!
Wishing so much Phil is still here with us, so talented but gone too young 😔💔...
POWERFULL ‼
wooooahhhh !!!!
hot. damn.
I think they would’ve found more success if they’d named it the Seymour-Twilley band
Should have been a big hit.
How they never got the Superstardom they deserved is a shame.
