  • Okay so I obviously really wanted in on this viral liquid cheese so in typical EdgyVeg nature I made my own VEGAN POURABLE cheese for pizza! (Or anything really...) This recipe is super easy once you have all the ingredients and let me tell you it tastes SO. GOOD. Definitely a staple cheese for pizza nights at home.

I'd love for you to make some Vegan Birria Tacos where the "meat" is made from hibiscus flowers. I saw a video on UA-cam from Views on the road and I bought all the stuff to make that happen. I've never EVER heard of making any type of meat from hibiscus flowers. And I can totally see you making this or your own version of it. Honestly, I can't wait to make it in the next couple of days. --- Love your channel.

Yeees! So so good. I really enjoyed using the flowers for "pulled pork" as well. Do not forget to wash and then boil those flowers at LEAST 2 times. Add some ACV to get the extra tang out of it.

I just made this with a few tweaks and it is amazing! It's mild yet has a really great savory/umami flavor.
When cooking the veg (I used onion & garlic powders vs the real thing) I also added a generous Cup of frozen cauliflower. I added some (vegan) lactic acid instead of the sauerkraut juice. I think the main thing was I cooked the agar in the soy milk until thick, then blended that with everything else. My thinking is that I don't want to have to cook the cheese until crispy on a pizza, I like it gooey and saucy. So it is precooked/thickened. I didn't do the pizza yet, but had a bowl full and dipped in corn chips. I love it! as I said, creamy, smooth, mild and savory. Just like a white nacho sauce, it's so savory and just wonderful' Thanks Candace!!
Edit: I just tried Myikos' pourable mozzarella. IT WAS AWFUL! I'm returning it. It was so salty I couldn't use it, and it was quite gritty too.
Sorry Myiko, I like about half your line, but about half is a miss for me.
As a vegan I love nooch. I honestly don't think they give anyone a vegan card if they don't love nooch! But for some recipes I'd rather not have that yellow finished product. Does any company make a nooch that is more white or cream color vs yellow? or maybe it's not possible. hmmm

Gosh! I didn't knew you had a recipe book, I will look it up! This video was very well presented, the lace gloves to present the ingredients, that soft music was too zen and calming, very pleasing. You pit a lot of work in theses videos. Will try your recipe. I saw a cauliflower bake on Middle Eats YT channel, it looked amazing and vegan. I will use cauliflower on my pizza. When you say bouillon and mushroom powder, I would like to know any brands you suggest? Thanks.

I made my version of this too just using yogurt fermented cashews, and most of the other stuff on the label. It tasted great but her texture was better... very much like melted mozz, mine was firmer. I didn't have lecithin and my fat ass wanted to avoid the oil, but I think it's pretty vital for the texture. Oh and BTW, Miyoko actually uses konjac instead of agar, a super healthy fiber ingredient I use to thicken sauces, make dressings, firm up cheeses, whatever. You HAVE to be careful to add it to cool liquids, never hot , or it clumps immediately. It can be cooked once it dissolves, but will also thicken without cooking beautifully in minutes, and you only need a tiny bit. Fun stuff!

Would love to see a cheese and red onion pizza on a finely sliced tomato base instead of sauce. With so many cheese recipes out there not sure which one will be perfect with onion.
Yes, store bought cheeses leave a "milky" after taste. It's not bad but would like the zing after taste of cheese to linger 'til the next bite.

Cheese layering should have been thicker. Video doesn't show how the actual texture is cz of thin layer

If you don’t use oil, you should be used to sautéing without it; and what was poured on the crust was just to make it “golden” brown.
Some people prefer oil for taste, others eliminate it for health reasons.
She made up the recipe; you can change it to fit your unique taste.
I made someone else’s cheese sauce today and had to do a lot of tweaking to get it the way I liked it.
Thanks for this recipe, Candice. I’ll definitely be trying it soon!

I'd love to incorporate vegan foods into my diet but It feels like there's so many extra carbs that ruins my daily allowances.

I'm curious why you say that? Taste, texture, other? If you've tried the recipe, it would be helpful to give Candace constructive feedback instead of just an insult 🤷‍♀️

Noah’s fence but that looks wack. Like a science experiment gone wrong. If you can pour cheese/vegan cheese out of a bottle, it does not belong on pizza.

this is a homemade version of a store-bought product... I didn't invent this concept
