After Re-watching Flash Season 8 Episode 5 at least 10 times now, I felt bad for Thawne. After Barry Stole His Moment As A Hero He Felt As If His Destiny To Be The Reverse Flash Was The Only Thing He Had Left. After Barry Took His Speed He Didnt Have Anything To Live For.

This was a Phenomenal Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Villain in The Arrowverse. Tom Cavanagh and Matt Letscher both did an Incredible Performances Bringing Eobard Thawne to life. Even though The Reverse Flash is a Villain at there are some times that I can’t help but feel bad for him.
I always feel bad for him.
I truly believe that he's a broken man 💔

All these years that Barry had the chance to strike Thawne down, and Thawne tried to talk Barry into it. The reason he did that was because he knew Barry wouldn’t do it. Whether it be by his own choice, or being convinced by his team to let Thawne live. That’s why Thawne was taken by surprise in the final battle when he said “It’s not supposed to end like this.” He didn’t think Barry would actually let him die
Well, I think it’s more like he didn’t expect his literal attack to reverse in on himself. He didn’t expect to lose.”It’s your destiny to lose to me,Flash. Just as it was your mother’s destiny to die that night.”
I will arguably say that Reverse Flash is the best villain in the CW Flash series. There were so few that I liked like Zoom and...and ig that's pretty much it 😕 I didn't really like the other villains just those two

In regards to the overall Arrowverse, Lex Luthor we bad. Damien Darhk was worse. But Thawne, is the baddest of the bunch
Good and bad news at the same time next season will finally reveal his origin after years in a simple EP how it should have been revealed since the first season The bad part it took a long time 😢🤧
yea that's true. Although it hasn't yet been confirmed if its a origin story or some other storyline.
