I used a Blue Beacon in Gallup NM a couple of years ago. They did a great job. I only had the basic wash which was around $45 at that time. I had been in Cameron AZ and needed to get to Gallup but the day before Flagstaff had had a record snow storm which I wanted to avoid. So tried some state back roads. There was a section about 15 miles which had not been plowed but still had some salt. By the time I got through that, my red black and white trailer and red truck was totally white. Could not see any of the red or black on either vehicle. Looked brand new when I came out the other end of the wash.
I (David) jump in Robins lap too when going through car washes. Not that I’m scared of the water, it’s just more comfortable and fun to experience them like this...and by comfortable and fun I mean, for me only 😉.
I use blue beacon all the time for my work trucks (12ft box vans) it is quick and easy, cost around 25-30 bucks, the only problem is there is usually a line of 15 semi trucks or more and passing by on a slow day is rare. I think they do a decent job givin the price and time.
We’ve passed a few of these and I’ve always wanted to check it out! We’ll have to make time to stop at one now. $100 isn’t bad at all. We spent over $300 to have ours washed at the campground before 😳
Only a few days left, booo! We had that trouble too of not knowing the price. We were fortunate not to have to sit in line too long, an hour isn't too bad. An important video to show others how Beacon works for RVers!
Hey guys - I know it's been awhile since you posted this video but do you happen to remember how well they cleaned the bug guts, etc. that alot of standard car washes rarely get off of normal cars, let alone bigger rigs?

Another question? We have the same trailer. What do you use for sway if anything. We use the Blue Ox weight distribution which is suppose to be a combo unit for weight and sway but I think it’s more for weight distribution than anything. Have you experienced any sway that has freaked you out?
Nice! We have the Equalizer E4. It is a similar setup. You definitely know the camper is there, but haven't experienced anything too dramatic. It just takes some experience!
@@lifererouted We have a GD 2800bh, same equalizer. We tow with a 1 ton truck but the equalizer still makes a huge difference. Blue Beacon is the best truck/RV wash I’ve used.
I was just wondering how to clean the exterior of an RV! $100 for a really good clean isn’t too bad. So sweet that they were nice to the puppy! Can’t wait to see your next adventure! 💕❤️
Lmfao when she said a pretty penny. Lmfao 100$ for a hand wash and all that you got is a deal. And you did choice some upgrades over a basic wash, probably could have got it washed for 50$

Oh man, those roads sound awful! Glad they got the truck and trailer clean though - we were really impressed by how clean they got ours too!

Holy cow! I've always wanted to use one of those mobile detailers, but didn't know how much they were. This was simple and not too expensive.

We've gotten it washed a few times here, they do a good job! They usually have a big crew and do a good job

It does a good job, I have the 3.92 rear axle. GVW is 7850 lbs for the rig.

The expense is the reason we have never done it, but they did a great job.

Looks like they did a nice job. Did they wash the rv roof? AC not damaged.
They did wash the roof! They have sprayers in the ceiling that wash the roof. No A/C damage 😁

It was a pretty penny! Definitely worth it to have the truck and camper washed and hand dried.
