I watched this before Vikings. Then i finally watched Vikings which was brilliant and then i watched this again. Great casting for the leads. Ragnar, Ivar the Boneless Floki, and Leif characters really found the perfect actors to portray them.
This one is even better than the original Vikings series even if vikings was also great. I can’t wait for season two. Please prepare for 10 seasons at least.

What I like about Vikings Valhalla were the battles that the vikings fought without fear! A little bit of information for the cast is that I myself am decended from a very famous and bloody viking named as Eric Bloodaxe King of Norway! This I found out about 6 years ago when a cousin of mine an ex detective in the Strathclyde police found out who our famous viking forefathers was!

I watched it as I watch any decent fiction series. As fiction. Give it about 50 more years and all of western history will be rewritten and there is nothing we can do about it because the rewrites will be forcefed in schools.
