my dad used to work there also and when they took tornado out he got alot of the old plywood that coverd the walls. my wood shed ses tornado down the side of it lol

no i think they ended up taking that out for some future development also got rid of rainbow ride for a ride called sasquatch

the problem with the rainbow ride was that the defect in the main bearings and the syncronzers were failing withought warning

How can they remove Jungleland and Tornado? I wasn't there in years, but was disappointed to find this out right now. I will be in the area in late August, but disappointed these won't be there.

i live in albany and usually go to great escape a TON(and usually love it), but it is getting too kiddy and unreliable(+ expensive) the rides are always closed or broken or being torn down. i guarantee w/in 10 years the name of the entire park will change to something like kidtown NY
