You know, that is a strange point (and also scary about large rooms having a single door) that you can only have inner-facing windows. And on top of that you can't adjust the building, which I guess is for "balance" purposes. Also I forgot the Superbug stuff could be done solo! I need to do that once I get back to this game. Though if you do get stuck on something requiring a second player I can try to get on!
