- Today we are at Savers! I know! Not a Goodwill. Today we are in La Mirada, CA. What did I find at this thrift store and was it worth it skipping out on Goodwill? It’s crazy friend! You always find things from Goodwill at savers and vice versa. Funny thing is is that usually savers charges even more than what Goodwill was lol.

Daniel! I used to love to go to Savers when I lived in NY. Lots of good vintage finds. I also used to love their wall of baggies! Although ours used to love putting ceramics in the baggies, and they always got destroyed, of course. But it was a really fun treasure hunt looking through them all! Thanks for sharing, friend!
Hello friend, oh my goodness they do that here too. They put ceramics in those plastic grab bags and most of them always end up broken. Why did they do that? I have no idea. It’s so unfortunate that they are also very pricey.
Hey friend! I love Savers but that's because I go in on their 50% off days to get more for my money lol I love how you can tell vintage pieces, you have a good eye & knowledge! I spotted a tea pot/kettle that was blue and white that I really liked! Love that planter you ended up getting! The girls love going through the books when we go! ❤

Heyy Bestie, i have a savers that is in one of my shopping malls but it is called Unique with the savers name on the reciepts! I see they wanted a lot i feel for that Star Wars glass, was that a special edition piece maybe? Gorgeous vase by Anthropolgy~ Love the Wisdom RD mug, but again the price a bit much. Oh and did you see the glasses with the wooden tops? nice, just need to add your own straw and boom sooo cute! And Wow i can not believe they were charging almost 8 bucks for those fall plates i have that plate and got it from Dollar Tree! Thanks for sharing with us Bestie!
Hello friend! Oh, that’s so cool. They’re from the same company then probably. This thrift store is definitely overpriced though. I feel that Goodwill is definitely more better. Although I have found a lot more clothes at savers that I buy than at Goodwill.
Those norfolk fall leave plates are from dollar tree, anything that saids norfolk or greenbrier. I can’t believe they wanted $7.99
I was at a loss for words. I could not believe that they were charging that much for one plate that you can get for $1.25! I was like are you serious?! Ridiculous lol

Hello Amiga! Thank you so much for watching happy Monday. They definitely have some unique pieces at savers, but unfortunately it is pricey. Compared to thrift at Goodwill I feel that Goodwill definitely has the better prices.

I had a Saver's in Houston. It was huge. I love that you like GW. There's another UA-camr in your area that knocks the prices at GW as being too high, but goes to a name brand store & pays 3x's more because of the store name. That bothers me. Being on fixed income now, I love it when I find name brand items at GW prices.
Hi Connie, thanks for watching as always. I absolutely love Goodwill. I like savers but more for their clothing as I tend to find better clothing at savers than at Goodwill although it’s still at a little bit of a high price. I feel like Goodwill definitely Has very great pricing. There are of course, some things that are a little bit high before the majority of my Thrifting history I have found that Goodwill is very low pricing compared to others.
Looking forward to doing some thrifting this weekend. I don't have a Savers nearby, but I do go to Goodwill and occasionally Salvation Army. There is also an Arc nearby, but they tend to be a little overpriced. My local Goodwill does do the goody bags, mainly with craft items. The only thing they do that annoys me is that if they get a bedspread and shams, they separate them. I once found a king bedspread and one matching sham nearby. I had to spend 15 minutes in the store looking for the other sham...but I found it!
Hello friend! I wish the Goodwill‘s here in Orange County did more of the goody bags. I think they are barely starting to roll these out. I’ve seen it in several other thrift stores, including other goodwill‘s, but do not understand why they don’t do it here in Orange County. I definitely understand with the separation of items. I remember a while back savers had a goodie bag, but I found the partner to the item in another bag and it was very annoying having to buy both just to get the both items together lol

Hello friend, we do have a few Savers here, not many but there is usually just a lot of junk, it's rare to find any real treasures and the prices have gotten ridiculous. You can get new items for the same price or sometimes even cheaper if they are on clearance. Thank you for always taking us along shopping with you. Always love to see what you find. Hello my friend happy Monday! Yes, unfortunately for some reason savers thrift store is overpriced. They charge a lot for some things that just don’t make sense in pricing. I have found a lot of vintage Rae Dunn so I usually always visit them to see if I find more.
