So nice to see somebody not just trashing the hell out of this ship. It's basic but it's a very basic price. You couldn't hardly stay and eat for a 2 night trip to Vegas for that amount unless you were really slumming it.
Not just Vegas, you couldn’t stay in Palm beach area (other side of the bridge of Rivera beach where the ship docks) and certainly couldn’t stay at singer island which the ship passes on its way out to sea plus meals out for what you pay for this mini cruise. Don’t go in expecting Royal Caribbean. Keep an open mind and it’s a pretty outstanding value. I’m sailing in a few weeks (I sailed this years ago when it was grand classica) and am excited to try the Islander in Tampa this March!

Yay thank you! Yes, if you purchase a bottle in port they will collect it at the gangway upon re-entering the ship and store it until disembarkation day.
Thank you so much for these videos. After watching your first one I booked my cruise ! How long does the muster drill take ? Can you start using pool and eat as soon as your board (I assume after muster drill or does that take place a bit later)? Do you get your wrist bands for drinks before you board ? Also how are the pool towels (should I bring my own- I am not a fan of the small towels)? Lastly how is the shampoo and conditioner ? Thanks in advance ! Sorry for so many questions lol
Thank you so much for watching!! Our muster drills were very different on each. The first took about 2 minutes and the most recent took about 30. They were telling me that every now and then the coast guard requires a “full” drill and they have to comply. So there’s no way of knowing which it will be beforehand. As soon as you board the ship you can go to the sail away buffet or the pool or just wander around. Your room might be ready right away if you’re lucky but plan on around 2pm for access to your cabin. You can purchase the wrist bands right there in the bundling where you checkin for your cruise (they have tables set up where they’re selling all the add-on’s) but I’ve just purchased mine onboard at the Euphoria lounge both times. Pool towels were average I’d say, comparable to hotel pool towels, fresh and clean smelling. They’re located by the main pool. Shampoo and conditioner smells really good! It’s their spa products, tropical scented. Probably not the best thing you’re ever going to use but decent enough for a few days for sure. And yep, ship still smells great! They are constantly cleaning the restrooms and tidying up. Zero complaints about cleanliness from me! I hope you enjoy!!!
Unfortunately from what I’ve gathered, the same policy applies to alcohol purchased on board, as in port. It is collected and held until the end of your cruise. I don’t have any first hand experience with this but this seems to be their rules.

I would say a little bit more but definitely nowhere near capacity or anything. Still a pretty empty ship for the most part.
