I'm terribly sorry to hear about Clayton's passing. Condolences to his loved ones. He was always a highlight of the channel with his playful commentary and warm, friendly disposition. I didn't know him in person but I don't recall him ever having an angry or unkind word anytime I've seen him online.
I went at 11:30 am and started getting crowded but everything was normal, I got at the bath and body works and the only long line was for paying, I feel this year isn’t so crowded like other years ago
Thanks for the video! The last time I was in TO was 2016. I remember the elevated walkway between Eaton Center and, I believe, Simpson's but it wasn't as fancy as it is now.
Nice tour around the Eaton Centre on Boxing Day Johnny! One of the busiest malls in the city! By the way Johnny, so sorry to hear about Clayton Crawford, he was always a great long time supporter of your channel. May he rest in peace 😔😢
Four reasons why the lower level of the Eaton Centre is always the busiest, IMO: 1) this level has direct access from both subway stations. 2) travellers heading north from the Path enter onto this level. 3) you have to pass through this level to get to the foodcourt. 4) the lower level generally has lower-priced stores that ppl are more likely to be able to shop at, compared to the ‘aspirational’ high-priced stores on the upper levels (ex. Shoppers Drug Mart vs Canada Goose).
In New Zealand black Friday sales have also become bigger over the last few years where a lot of retailers are starting back Friday sales early the week before
I arrived to the eaton center around 5 pm and I did need to go to bath and body works, a huge line to get in the store, finally I could get in and people trying to get the body lotion, soaps, candles and another line to pay, thanks god there there were 2 more cashiers to help.
América te dice gracias campeón, estamos fascinados los Americanos con Toronto, recibimos la fascinación Americana los Americanos, gracias a Canadá América 🇦🇷
I see this shopping mall in Toronto's city center as advantage, I like this part of the city. I loved walking from there until I met University Avenue which is my favorite street in Toronto.
Fabulous video Johnny! I am deeply saddened to learn that Clayton Crawford passed away. Was it recent? I am in a bit of shock. I always enjoyed his comments and he seemed like a genuinely warm, caring individual. He will be missed. On a small teasing note I have to say my husband drives a Tesla, along with a couple of friends, but he doesn't drive like an asshole! He's a sweetie and is very cautious, caring and courteous on the road! So are my friends! I am not a big shopper at the best of times so I have to admit a mall was the last place I was going to be on Boxing Day! I managed to avoid malls altogether for Christmas shopping and went to small stores in my neighbourhood who I really like to give back to as they do so much for the community - sponsor kid's sports teams, etc. I think of the owners and staff as friends! Cheers!! 🙂
Thanks for braving the crowds for this video, Johnny. I don't like crowded malls at the best of times and you must have been relieved to escape. 😅 On a more somber note, I was saddened to learn about Clayton. He was a unique person who always brightened up the chat. His presence will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace. 😢
I am so deeply sad to learn here that a regular, Clayton, passed away. As a psychologist I know this is a tough time of year for many people. I don't know the cause of death. I hope it was such that he was surrounded with support. I am jolted seeing this. Rest in peace Clayton.
It looks like just another Saturday shopping. This Boxing Day and Black Friday is jo longer what it was long ago. I would line up outside Sam's for the door crasher albums, then CDs later on. I would walk to Sunrise Music World and A&As. Then flash Jacks, for posters and Tahirts, then wander through the eaton center. It was super crowded downtown, but now people ge really know the sales you see on both days will be seen throughout the year. Everything has changed drastically. I just stay home. Don't need anything that desperately. Got my health, my home and my family; and that's all I need
América desea un Feliz Año Nuevo para Johnny como a todos los canadienses América, para la people América que queremos los Americanos además los Americanos 🇦🇷

Can you imagine paying $1300 for sneakers that have the clear and observable combined material value of $20. I'll get you a Toyota, of Facebook marketplace, that will last you 5 years with no repairs for that.
You never seen a "busiest" mall, in Mexican mall you cannot walk with too many people in these holidays, once we went even that we lived very near (like 3 blocks away) we prefer to take a taxi to go there when we tried to leave we waited like 2 hours for a taxi to get back at home
Boxing Day are for the sheep that love to be scammed. Ppl complain that everything is going up then go out and spend money they claim to not have on everyday prices. They literally put the prices high a week before Boxing Day then put it back to regular price to make it some like ppl got a deal. It’s ridiculous 😅😅

Great guy
I remember when everybody lined up to get into Sam The Record Man and A&A Records on Yonge St.
I went at 11:30 am and started getting crowded but everything was normal, I got at the bath and body works and the only long line was for paying, I feel this year isn’t so crowded like other years ago
Never knew Clayton personally but rest in peace.

I love the fact that you guys have direct subway and streetcar access into the mall… very convenient!!!
It's really convenient especially if the weather is bad outside, you can gain access from the inside almost.
Gorgeous camera work and as always beautiful sharing an adventure walk away tour and you nailed it again .. Merci beaucoup from Montreal QC
I was down the Eating Center last year quite a few times myself
Beautiful red tree
