Despite all the problem I mention, there has been improvements. And unlike other things, We cannot manufacture blood, it has to come from a donor. So, I have recently pledged to become a regular donor and I highly encourage you to do so. Correction: At 6:16, it says 2083, when in fact it should be 2073 BS. Sorry for the mistake.
I can't determine difference between two channels....The Nepali Comment & In Depth Story....Both of you have genuine information....Both are my favorite channels.......
As a regular donor, this is truly an eye opener. Not that this changes anything on my part- but how I wish things would have been better and contribution like ours would have been treated properly.
I can't determine difference between two channels....The Nepali Comment & In Depth Story....Both of you have genuine information....Both are my favorite channels.......
(Misguided Nepal, k.dhanush, project kura, Redirected Nepal, Gyanmul, why so offended ) their content are also good and well information we can get....
I have discussed about this matter few years back with my friends that how the blood donated isn't properly managed in our country and how it's taken as a sort of business. Highly appreciated that you putting immense efforts in digging such matters.
Your big fan of how you present, what you cover and your voice is really good. Being a doctor I want to correct something although it is acceptable at your level and that much information is quite good for general population. 9:02 In Dengue we do transfuse platelets unlike you said plasma. Manipal 2083 ( video) in place of 2073 (audio) you already noted Nowadays we don’t say pint and it is unit for blood and 1 unit varies for different blood products and country. In general we withdraw 450ml in maximum. Irradiated blood products are used not only and for all cancers but in all patients with compromised immunity. There are lots of problems with blood banks and all are corrupt. Most of the donation programs that are organized by some society or organizations are all for advertisement and Red Cross is very careless like you rightly said. Blood is going waste and needy people are not getting it inspite of adequate number of donors. Nice video I have seen your most videos and keep going brother. Best wishes
Since I was so positive on blood donation program but when my mom had kidney surgery and I had to contact blood bank for blood there was so shortage it was so difficult to manage I was so shocked that there’s no availability for the needy as there were so many blood donation campaign running, and it was expensive also with all their cost , I think they are running some kind of business and wasting the peoples valuable blood by their mismanagement😢
Another story of mismanagement and syndicate in Nepal. Good and sad content at the same time. Keep doing good, brother. I really struggled for blood banks during COVID. So, I can relate these things.
I just watched your video on blood donation, and I must say it was truly inspiring! Thank you for raising awareness about such an important topic and for encouraging people to donate blood. Your message was clear and concise, and I appreciate the effort you put into making this video. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing more content like this on your channel. Best wishes for your continued success!
There is a one non-profit org called Hamro life bank that connects the patient and donors where donors can donate only if someone is in need. They really helped me when my relative was in need of blood. They provided me 2 donors who were happy to give their blood.
I appreciate how you spread awareness I think we as a youth of our country should know what’s go ion our country we don’t even know plz make more content like this🙏
Now that's what is called a detailed information presented to us viewers, I also didn't knew that instead of donating whole blood you can donate RBC, platelets and plasma separately, through this channel i have truly gained a lot of knowledge regarding Nepal scenario, thanks a lot to The Nepali comment Team. Keep on Grinding guys
Few corrections: 1. severe Dengue fever ko case ma we use whole blood donation, not plasma! Nepal is definitely practicing wrong. 2. Criteria for female: during period, we don’t allow blood donation. 3. A male can donate upto 4 times a year and female can donate upto 3 times a year, if he/she is regular donors (3-4 months gap needed) 4. There r other blood components are extractable but we don’t hav thorough technologies
It was so hard to manage O neg blood for my mama operation. I had donated my blood which is also O neg few days ago and we had to contact so many people reaching each and every person in twitter and social medias and various social clubs. Me and my sister broke down into tears while searching for blood.

Hey man. I happened to stumble upon your videos. You make some really quality content! Unfortunately due to the language barrier, it's a bit difficult to follow since I don't know Nepali. I often ask my Nepali girlfriend to help translate which is great for learning and I take any opportunity to learn the language. However, I think it would be great to include English subtitles as the auto-generated ones can be hit-or-miss and sometimes not present at all. I think I can speak for others too who wish to know more about Nepal and it's share of controversies and history. Again, really love the content and if you can make this happen that would be awesome! Keep it up brother.

I was a regular donor of negative blood but after many times I got scammed, after that, I started to give directly to the needy person by knowing all medical conditions. Due to this trafficking, I stopped. I used to donate nowadays when needy people are asking for blood in various social media groups such as MRR and so on.
I was always suspicious about this thing . Because when they promoted "Rakt daan jeevan daan " and When I saw my relatives going crazy for blood in hospital . I knew something is suspicious and it's all corrupted forms running all around in Nepal like UNO and all other non-profit.
Wow. Very informative content. As a corrupted system, let's not depend on them. Better leave our contact number in the blood bank and when the needy comes, tell them to call and donate direct to patient.

Concerned Authorities And Government Should Introduce Plans And Policies Regarding this Issue. Blood Donor Are Increasing Day by Day But Those Blood Have Not Been Utilized Properly.
I face the problem when my wife was pregnant. She need to be done CS so hospital told me to bring blood. I went to red cross which is located at solteemode. The staff told me they don't have blood right now and search at another hospital. So basically I went to another hospitals but most of their reply is we are having shortage and you need to wait for like 7 to 9 hour and even after that they told me there is no chance of getting blood in that time. Seriously? Like how can they do that to us when people are donating blood for free and even we are paying high amount still there is no blood. Really Nepal Government fuck you. The worst management and mafia are the reason behind all this. I hope one day these all corrupted people will suffer very badly.
I had donated blood several times but one day when my relative needed blood and i bought 3 pouch and and at last only 1 was used so i returned 2 pouch but the authorized person returned only half money. this is worst experience so i planned not to donate in such program rather than we should donate directly to the patient.

This is why some of my friends always says, we will donate blood to patient directly at hospital rather than any blood donation campaign.
