Finally made a canon/female version of Rainbow Dash, since the original had mixed reviews. I had to get over the fact that not everyone will like what I do and the creative paths I take, but I still want to give people what they want to see! I really enjoyed the design process for her after taking a break, and I wouldn't have been able to make the design if I didn't make the first Rainbow Dash. I hope you guys like her, I love how athletic she is, and she's the tallest too! haha!

Everyone giving unnecessary critique on this must be oblivious to how much work goes into customs and how hard he worked on this doll. This doll is elegant and sporty and screams 80s and if you can’t see that, you need to re-evaluate your critiquing skills instead of wanting a fanservice doll. Hextian puts his soul into these dolls and made this for all the people that kept harassing him to make a fem Rainbow Dash. He listens to us, guys! He listens to requests! Allow him to express his creative freedom. He is so talented.

I think everyone is so hurt you gender swapped because she’s a Tom boy unlike the other main characters but I love both of your versions they are both fabulous!
True. Making her an actual boy erases the interest of her being a tomboy in a way. All of the main characters are supposed to represent a side of a girl's personnality. Twilight represent all of the bookworms out there, rarity for the make up and fashion addicts, applejack for the hard workers and country girls, and rainbow dash represent all the tomboys. There is nothing wrong with gender swapping characters at all, and Hextian's boy rainbow dash looks gorgeous. But I do think it was a good thing to do a girl doll too, so that the crew is complete and the tomboys are represented. And two dolls is better than one.

Hextian this doll was beautifully done. I also admire the male version of rainbow dash. But next time, don't force yourself to make a doll to please people that may not have agreed with your previous version. They have to understand that it is your doll not their own. And if they were your true supporters they would not have made those ignorant comments. Yes we know RD is a girl,but, can't people not have their own version of the character? I just want you to enjoy what you do best and not feel guilty into making projects just to silence the masses who don't agree with your vision.

Both dolls boy rainbow dash and girl rainbow dash are stunning!!!!!! I was kind of annoyed by the people who were complaining that "Rainbow Dash is a girl!!!" as if he didn't already know. He even said in his original video that he knew Rainbow Dash was a girl, and he was kind of celebrating pride month by making a male doll. Either way, he is talented and I love both his original doll and this female one.

This showcases beautifully what can be done when a great artist, instead of dismissing any critique as just dumb and jealous haters, decides to listen and use it as inspiration for something good. The fact that Hextian managed to do an equally great female doll and introduce her in an awesome way in the ending skit was just amazing!

Both dolls were incredible, dude! Personally, I’d love to see you do more gender swapped dolls! I LOVE seeing how you translate the original design aspects into the swapped one. It makes it feel like you’re also having the audience analyze the character personality wise and not just design wise. As someone who creates her own characters, it’s such a cool process to watch and makes me rethink my own creation process!

You should never apologize for your creative choices unless they’re hurting somebody, or are truly offensive. Whether or not you did this doll, the original rainbow dash was perfect. Having said that, this is such a gorgeous doll, and I’m really impressed with how this turned out! Especially side by side to the original rainbow dash. Really beautiful work as always

I think it's a great add that he (most likely by accident) made Tank a turtle because in the episode where Rainbow chooses her pet, she accidentally called him a turtle at first and Fluttershy corrected her. And then in the end, Fluttershy called Tank a turtle. I don't know, I just think it's funny how Tank is a turtle here and the stuff in the episode.
Oddly enough the boy rainbow dash was the 2nd best boy doll you’ve made( the Scar doll was so dope I used it for a Halloween costume) all your dolls are so well done I can’t imagine anyone having an issue with any of them!!!

I don't know how I feel about this?? not bc it's bad, in fact it's a very beautiful doll!! I love what u did to make her stand out from her male ver and also the others. Her height, the small details on the clothes and hair!! idk it's just interesting to see what u did instead of just going with the same exact design. I guess what I'm a bit torn about is that it feels like you felt forced to do it?? I rly hope that isn't the case and that u wanted to make a female version urself but the intro tells me otherwise ;;;
I actually really enjoyed making her and after coming up with the design, I wanted her to have sharper lines to be kind of an opposite to the first RBD I made, hence why I gave her pointy shoulders and the height. I wanted the male RBD to be a softer take on RBD and this one to be the mature, more aggressive look of hers. I honestly ended up having a love-hate relationship with the male RBD because of the critiques and backlash to the point where I didn't even want to look at the doll, so I was looking forward to making this to complete an all female mane 6. Now, I get comments from the people who wanted a female RBD saying they prefer the male one soooo lol idk. Can't win them all haha, but I hope you liked it :D

HeXtian I'm so sad to know critics made you hate your doll... beauty is subjective and of course everybody won't love it the same way, but you made such incredible dolls that you have the right to make some dolls that won't please your audience as much as the other ones! All your dolls are amazing to someone Hextian ^^ try to remember too that some people watching your videos are very young, like 12, 13, 14 years and you know you can't expect every one of them to speak rationally. You're an amazing artist and you should never be ashamed of your work because of somebody else's eyes! Both dolls are amazing darling, they'll both be beautiful to someone's eyes

I absolutely loved your previous male/trans rainbow dash as it showed so much of your own flare and artistic interpretation of a beloved character. Having said that, I also adore the new female rainbow dash too! I think the only slight criticism I’d have is probably to have kept the midriff as it’s a bit sportier looking BUT I know you were worried about matching skin tone and the belt still looks awesome. You are so so talented! I hope no one is rude to you again. Honestly you spend so much time and effort making these dolls we should be grateful! And they are your unique style! Can’t wait to see what you do next. Although may I suggest for the other princesses? Luna would look so beautiful in your style :P

While I was watching the video, I felt like Hextian was forcing himself to do this doll.
I didn't get the good vibes he always puts in his videos, it was like he was making it for obligation.
You guys were really harsh on him, telling him all that mean stuff about Rainbow Dash being a girl.
Plus, Hextian had explained why he made Rainbow Dash a boy in a previous video, saying he wanted to make a doll to represent LGBTQ+, and for that he wanted Rainbow Dash to be transgender.
When Hextian explained that, he was really sad, and I could feel guilt in his voice.
You guys really didn't help, pushing him to do this doll *again* , when he had put so much effort in the other one.
The doll itself is amazing, and I really liked the style.

HeX both these dolls are gorgeous. But don't feel obligated to make other dolls if some people aren't happy with your original. You're the artist and we want to see what you come up with because we love your work. There's nothing wrong with going outside of the box.

I am pretty sure he knew Rainbow Dash was a girl. You didn't have to have to TELL him anything. I realize everyone is entitled to their own opinion; but at the same time he is entitled to how he creates his art. If you honestly didn't care then you wouldn't have tried so hard to let him know that Rainbow Dash was a girl and claimed he did everything wrong. Hate me all for this comment I don't care. I just hate the fact that people just so offended over such small things like gender that they would comment harass(and they did, the comment section is proof) artist. Why are people so offended that you made a boy version of Rainbow Dash? Those people are probably just jealous that they can't make a doll as good as yours cause GURL. YOU CAN WORK IT WITH THESE DOLLS! Love this doll and the boy version!
First, I want to say that yarn re-rooting technique is really cool, I haven't seen anyone else do it that way. Also it's a really good idea to use hair extensions.... I wonder if cutting the sewn part off would let you use the extensions for re-rooting as well? Cheap and easy way to get doll hair if it works.
Second, though, peoples' reaction to Rainbow Blitz really rubs me the wrong way. First of all, you're allowed to have headcanons, there's nothing wrong with you HC-ing RB as trans. And second, the whole "u know she's a girl, right?" really just... Like, as a trans guy myself, I've had more than my fair share of "um, you know you're supposed to be a girl, right???" and it just.... yuck. Let us have our fun. Let us HC characters as trans. We already know what the canon is we don't need to be reminded.

I love the way FemaleDash looks. The 80s style ties her well with the original series and the aerobic craze. Her wings looks light and lovely and her silhouette dramatic.
I don't understand why you got so much flack on MaleDash, he's an absolutely beautiful doll and they asked for your *_INTERPRETATION_* of Rainbow Dash. If I were to make a Rainbow Dash, doll I would make her female because of how I looked up to tomboy characters for being feminine without being "girly".
One of the many beautiful things about art is how artists can use their experiences and visions to create unique pieces off of the same idea, character, or concepts. To deny the artist that because the piece goes against your own views is cruel
I think both dolls are beautifully done. The male doll fit Rainbow Dash’s personality better, but the female one is just as eye catching. Wonderful job on both of them 😘💓
