I think vigil is quite good as a tactician. Though dog's health is pretty low to tank, but they have 2 stack lives and so with the blocks count. Probably that's the reason why dev keep their health low. Pairing with skalter would be a great help. Hope that the module buff the dog. Vigil may lack of dps if not with his s3, but surely he's okay for stalling. Great banner for sure
Don’t get people saying vigil is weak he’s pretty damn strong with his S3 from the looks of it also is actually quite interested in building quartz she seems like a pretty interesting operator to have.
I think the main problem with Vigil is the dog's low health, which results in it dying very easily. And without the attack buff against blocked enemies, Vigil's damage drops notably Personally i love him, and will be e2 m3 him immediately
I'm using him as my first pick in IS3 and Vigil beats Thorns in terms of performance as well as Horn. Horn was my previous go-to starter. Obviously the 2 will vastly improve when they reach E2 but it shows that Vigil does his best if you allow him to do his role which is a vanguard, he is your opener in stages and is currently one of the best (imo the best) in that department. If you were looking for the best dps or the best laneholder maybe pick the right class for that. People never expected Myrtle to ever kill anything and that was completely fine but not for Vigil?
Can atk drones Can hold a lane Can give dp Powerful but not amazing dps with s3 3 roles in one character, definitely a good 6 Star, especially his talent makes his summon better than those of his class

Sure he doesnt have the best dps in the game, but that's about it, not really enough to put him in your non existent "worst" category, if that's your reason then everyone is literally worst because they're outshined by the meta ops everyone likes to use.... Btw, at least I think he is better than a certain new vanguard just got released...
