"Many students from rural areas are not aware of JEE Advanced until they complete their 12th grade. This lack of awareness puts them at a significant disadvantage, as they often begin preparing for this highly competitive exam with much less time compared to those who have started their preparation in the 10th or 11th grade.The current system, which limits students to only two attempts for JEE Advanced, does not take into account the unique challenges faced by students from underprivileged or rural backgrounds. By allowing a second drop year, these students would have a fairer opportunity to compete and secure a place in the prestigious IITs.We believe that this change would contribute to a more equitable system and enable a more diverse range of talented students to showcase their potential.We hope you will consider this request and make the necessary changes to benefit students who are passionate about pursuing their dreams through IIT."
