Tito was smart enough to become a hall of fame MMA legend. Tito joined the UFC in 1997 and fought all the best fighters for years look at his fight resume he fought against like 15 UFC Champions.
Fighting doesn't require high intellectual capabilities, physical genetics and reaction times are much more significant. Love tito, but they pushed that jacked ace ventura former teacher dialogue super hard for a reason, there's a stereotype that cage fighters aren't particularly bright and most stereotypes are developed through real life events

The dumbest former ufc fighter is War Machine. “Dumb” is certainly not the first word or the worst word one would use to describe the man formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver, but his decisions led to him giving the entire rest of his life to the federal government as a prisoner at best, slave at worst. As dumb as Bapa and Tito and other guys who were redacts long before getting CTE may be, they have managed to remain free men for the most part. Even other former fighters who have been incarcerated have more hope of seeing daylight again than War Machine. And even if theyre locked up for life, they haven’t disgraced themselves as famously as War Machine has.
Thats about as deep a self destruction as it gets. If dumbness is defined by levels of intellect and judgement that are detrimental to the person and their surroundings, i cant think of a fighter dumber than War Machine
