I recently read articles from pseudo critics that he was in bad shape and they shouldn't have recorded this concerts.
Lemmy wanted to keep rock and roll alive and wanted to die on stage, yes he was ill but he pleased the fans with those concerts and showed death you have to carry me off stage. What a man.

Nearly the same her, i saw them only twise. 2005 as support for the böhse onkelz and 2008 in Düsseldorf at the Motörzer tour. :-(

Can't watch that one, makes me cry. Guess I should admire his courage for getting up there and doing it like he always did - fans first, always put on the show. Can tell he's in a bad way, but he just keeps going. Greatest rocker off them all, nobody will ever come close. There are very few people that I truly admire but Lemmy was, and still is, top of that very short list. And he always will be.

Not sad as in pathetic, but it's like an old warrior making a final stand, an aging lion defending his pride for the last time. And succeeding at doing so in the most badass way but losing his life in the process RIP Lemmy. Born to Lose but won everything!

The first record I ever loved was Silver Machine. I was hiding under the kitchen table in my nan's flat, drinking left over booze at a family celebration, and head banging with euphoria.
This is the saddest thing I've ever seen.
The first time I saw Motorhead was in the 1970's when Lemmy came into the boozer at West Runton Pavillion in Norfolk England. They turned up in a Mk1 Ford Transit van and a Ford Cortina. Lemmy was so wasted, that he couldn't even get served at the bar. Iron Maiden and Tank were supporting, and they got boohed off stage. What a gig. I got shit faced on home made wine and voddy, and woke up the next day covered in puke and sand on West Runton beach. Happy days. RIP, Lemmy, I loved you then and for many years since. I mourn your passing.

Lem was never one to follow cliche or custom. He did things one way and that was HIS OWN WAY. His music, his drinking,his smoke, If one was in 50 or years look up "rockstar" in the dictionary,I wouldnt be surprised one bit if Lem's pic wasnt there for reference as he embodied the essence of what a rockstar really and truly is. He lived and in the end died by his own rules. Rock on in heaven and make sure the terrorists don't have their 72 virgins as you've no doubt defiled them all

It makes me wanna cry when i listen to this album. From the first second i heard that Lemmy was fighting like crasy. To be honest i don´t know why Phil and Mikkey didn´t stop him. they should have forced him into treatment. But who am i to judge anyone in retrospect. Lemmy is unfortunately dead. And there is nothing to do about that. R.I.P Lemmy.

It wasn't their place to stop him. Lemmy has said endlessly that he wanted to die on stage, and he did not believe in needlessly extending ones life. And sure enough he died on his own terms, he didn't go into a care home, didn't spend months in treatment and ultimately die, he went to his favourite bar for his birthday and died two days later.
Cancer "treatment" kills people and smarter people already know that.
