My mother made all the babies blankets. I get so upset at how little they're worth. So much time and the yarn isn't cheap. All the love that is in them!
Hi Kat, all the way from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. You should have probably picked up the wicker duck basket for 2$. When it said scrubs are these for wear in a hospital. Very funky patterns. Sue.
I picked up 6 quilted style placemats for only .50 cents for all 6. Sold them for $17.00 plus shipping. Sold around 3 weeks after listing. Was really surprised they sold as quick as they did.
Happy St. Patrick's Day. Can you believe it's already mid-March. Glad to see Springtime myself. You keep finding new places to shop. Good prices on those scrubs. Good for you. 😊
As usual you gout some great items I wished you had brought the basket it was beautiful the small square table cloth is so nice love the edges it is a shame the baby blankets don’t seemed make much but thanks for rescuing them I make them they take ages to make and are cheap to make thanks for the video until the next 🐨🦘🇦🇺🥰
Hand-knitted sweaters are some of my favorite pieces to sell. I think buyers recognize that handmade pieces are going to be better quality than those massed produced, and I know some appreciate the craft as wearable art (or keyword BOHO; I just watched your Boho video); I mean, that’s exactly what it is. I grew up with a grandmother who made all of her children’s clothing and continued to knit and sew after she had raised her children; she would do it late at night, and she told me it calmed her, making it easier to sleep. I hear resellers say they hesitate or just won’t pickup clothing that doesn’t have a size tag. I take measurements photos of every piece of clothing I sell, even when they have a size tag. I know the measurements of modern sizing, and I will place an asterisk after the size in the title, and I point to the missing tag in the photos and I sell a lot of clothes that don’t have size tags. And to be honest, so many companies manufacture clothing with sizes that don’t make sense (I have a Fenty x Puma hoodie collaboration tagged size Small that measures a 2XL), my sizing by measurement is true to size. The trickiest pieces for me are women’s pants or jeans that don’t have a size tag, because I am a man, and I only know pants measurements by a waist size, and I’ve had several ladies reach out asking what number size the pants/jeans were, so I have to research the specific brand for their specific measurements because, again, all brands have different criteria. I have never gotten a return on a piece that did not have a size tag. Even though I post measurements of clothing that do have size tags, I get returns for “item doesn’t fit”. My most recent return that absolutely tickled me: the buyer returned a pair of sterling earrings because “they were too small, barely 1.25”)”. The listing read Vtg 925 Cable Twisted Rope Sterling Silver Half Hoop Earrings Pierced 1.25”. Not clothes but I have wanted to share that with someone who is a reseller and understands the humor of it. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you I appreciate this and yes most I can guess an approx size based on measurements. We get items returned for size all the time that have measurements. Quite a few boxes that their item won't fit. We have measurements on title and in photos lol
Hi Kat, you should always look on the inside of the clothing item because they have the material content and sometimes the size is on that tag as well. Hope that helps.
You walked by a glass case but didn't even pause. There were 3 brown boxes that appeared marked. They looked to be the size that the Longaberger minitures came in.
Im curious as to what kind of nursing you did? LPN? RN? Speciality? Im a nurse new to reselling I work LTC and my bones ache so im hoping someday ill be able to retire and just resell.
Here's a question for you ...... when you buy quilts, and stuff like that that are hard to clean .... do you wash them before selling them online? If so any tips for cleaning /washing quilts or blankets?
@@katstreasurehunting Ahhh .. is there a good way to clean the newer ones? I'm always worried about damaging them all. I would think dry cleaning them would be very expensive. Do you wash them even if they look clean or look new too?
Titles and Thumbnails are key, you need to work on those. Your thumbnails are really hard to read the print and titles (also no need for emoji hearts or # in titles) don't have things that are searchable. If you're a smaller channel competing with the big guys you need hooks in both titles and thumbnails. I watched Dee and Nick Nimmin channels to learn how to improve my channels. Hold your phone out and look at your thumbnails to see if they're clear and easy to read (get rid of fancy cursive script) It looks like your haul videos have gotten the most views so I would do more of those. I didn't watch any videos, but I would work on these things first and then work on improving video quality after. It takes years sometimes and sometimes it doesn't happen. My main channel I have over 1000 videos and over 4 years into building it up. Also, consistency is key whether it's one two three videos a week, when I was building my other up I did daily videos for a long time and now on this one I do every other day. Hope this helps.
I love those baby afghan blankets. Even though this is an older video, I am thinking about your Dad today and sending a prayer upwards. 💌
Thank you so much

Yes I agree it is sad
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you and Happy Heavenly Birthday to your Dad.🍀🍀
Thanks so much

Yes hospital or perhaps veterinary office dentist etc. Thanks so much for watching!
Another fun day thrifting. I'm thinking you'll probably be going to this store again in the future. 😉👍❤
I think so too!

Nice haul Kt!!! I’m starting to look at linens based on your vids. Thank you.
Glad you like them!

Time flies!
Thanks for your time and video 😊
My pleasure 😊
They had very nice things, if no size, you can put measurements🥰
Yes very true but I wasn't sure how much that would be found in searches
Lovely haul ! I should really be doing the scrubs !!! I still have some much of my Mom's crocheted items ! All of her work is beautiful !!
I think it's just habit for me from being in nursing so long knowing how expensive they are :D
Brands sell great... until i list them! Lolol. Try try again. Thanks Kat, i enjoy your videos❤
Hahahahhaha it happens
The Sunice jacket at 5:26 - some are worth $
Good to know I'll see if it's still there next time!

Yes it really was I'll have to go back to this one for sure and make sure I bring cash. I was more picky as I didn't have much with me
So nice you are sort of local to me and you do non goodwill thrift stores. Nothing against goodwill... but they really pre pick prior to putting out.
I go there sometimes but definitely not my favorite 😆 🤣 😂 I can find good stuff but it's so over priced

Happy Birthday to your Dad in heaven 😊 my wedding anniversary is also on St. Patrick's Day 🍀
That's awesome thank you and happy anniversary!

Here's a question for you ...... when you buy quilts, and stuff like that that are hard to clean .... do you wash them before selling them online? If so any tips for cleaning /washing quilts or blankets?
Newer quilts yes I will wash, but if they're older where it could damage I sell as is and notate it.

Happy heavenly birthday to your Dad and mine! St Patty's day bday for Italians is always difficult!
Thank you 😊 🙏
I lived in Africa and the basket looked African from what I saw of it!! I actually considered going to Dunnellon! It’s 60 miles away!
It was a good one!! I am about 40 miles away
Hey! Was hoping for another thrifting video. Nice. Thanks!
More to come!
I would have checked the bottom of that basket to see if marked.
Hi Kat!
Hello 👋
Nice thrift...colorful haul..great.
Thank you! 🤗
Think that both sweaters you found in the back of the store are handmade
Oh good to know
Love your shopping videos, you always find great items. Do you find most textiles sell better on eBay or another platform?
Most of ours sell on ebay vs poshmark mercer
My granddaughter's birthday is on St Patty's day, and my grandmother and father-in-law died on St Patty's day. Just crazy!
Yes it's funny how those things work sometimes
Nice scrubs! Do you find larger sizes sell faster?
Yes they do but really bright good patterns seem to sell regardless of size
You find the best shops
I have to drive a bit but they're there! I've been finding a lot of new lately. I ask at the other shops and they tell me others nearby
I'm about to give up on my channel 😔 Any advice!?💙

You know you're a reseller when you carry cash :) lol
Lol I'm a bad one I rarely have it lol

Yay! And thanks for all your questions tonight!
