Damn dude, so i spliced them but the white light aint turning on. I guess you meant to use the knife to help cut open the insulation a little bit for the white and red wires before splicing?
Hey! I’ve bought a similar side marker and it came with the quick splice connector (similiar to the red clasp in your video) but I’ve heard it was an unreliable way to splice it. Can you plz give me an update on how your sidemarkers are going? Was there any issues with it/the wiring the ever since installation?
I feel like you didn’t do it the way I think it was designed. I don’t mean to be picky. I just got the same ones. On the ijdmtoy site they say their yellow wire is for the blinker and the white is for the constant white light. Black for ground. So. If I’m right I think the black and white wires on the new light should connect to the black and white (white wire on right side and red wire on left side of car). However the new light’s yellow wire should splice in to the turn signal wires which seem to be a pair of black and white wires right to the back of the turn signal. I think our new yellow wire gets spliced into that white wire. I have a 2013 BRZ. I am not an electrical person. So I could be wrong about everything I said. I haven’t even done mine yet just working it out.
This was the only good video I was able to find for installing new side markers that require wiring. Thank you so much!
Bro this helps heaps! Straight to the point and very clear instructions! Cheers brother
You can wire the white with the yellow to get a constant light too
Lukas Sweetsir are u talking about withought splicing it with the headlights wire?!
I just plugged in both yellow and white into one and the black into its own and it works fine
Legend has it that the scotch tape is still in there...
Thank you!! Helped a lot! Just got these and valenti style 4th brake light
This was an awesome install tutorial, thank you! I am going to get these now

Turn the freaking signal lights I want to see!
So I’m assuming if I get new headlights, I would have to splice into the new headlights for these?
Zino yep
where is the link i dont know how to do the splicing
Wait so once we wire these in are we never going to be able to remove our bumper without having to also take off the entire side marker? That sucks
You have to take them off for the bumper anyway
