So far, I find the Galaxy Ultra to be an amazingly well crafted device with tons of features. Of course the battery life cannot compare to Garmin or others but I knew that going in. I like the orange workout button, the 3,000 nit bright screen for my outdoor workouts, and how quickly the Watch Ultra responds to touch controls. I would like to see the next Samsung Galaxy incorporate nearly full button navigation for winter workouts, wet finger tips, and many other scenarios. The increased accuracy of heart rate, SP02, and other health metrics has been nice too. I turned off my Galaxy Watch Ultra last night and just kept wearing the Galaxy Ring. Samsung wrote some nice code for the ring/watch marriage inside the S-Health app. And their Galaxy Ring is comfortable to wear too...
Oh... I got confused. I often forget simply stuff during the 1st take. And with an unboxing video, yeah, second takes are difficult with only one box. Thank you for the nice feedback.
I was going to purchase a Falcon watch, but after watching your video about Falcon, I decided against it (thank you!). Instead, I decided to wait for Falcon 2 until Amazon released the T-Rex 3. Even so, I still think the falcon design is great; it's a high-end model, and Amazonfit should unveil the replacement by year's end. But regrettably, the wait for T Rex 3 ended. Yes! Yes, it does 😎I paired my Shokz & AirPods and they both stayed connected and I heard the Amazfit voice of workout feedback. All in all, if you’re looking for voice feedback, either the Cheetah Pro or the Balance is the way to go. Alas, this T-Rex 3 is pretty cool 😎

There are no fancy tones, melodies, or voice feedback on the tiny speaker instead the T-Rex 3. The only sounds the T-Rex 3 makes is a two or three different beeps. I hope this more clearly answers your questions.

Yep, just beeps. I paired some Bluetooth headphones and pushed one song via MP3 to the T-Rex. During my workout the voice in my head was there every mile and each time I pressed the "lap" button. I dislike the tone Amazfit chose for the alert noise/sound that plays after a time goes off. And I think they could easily add the ability to modify the tone in a future upgrade...
I'm really loving my T-Rex 3. Very cool device, and I'm so glad we got a mic for Flow. I bet with the T-Rex Ultra 2/4 we get a mic too. If the Fenix 8 is good for one thing, it set a precedent for mic and speaker on an adventure watch. Also, I'm in Florida with a "Feels-like" that's over 100 most days and I am SO jealous of you and your 40° weather lol.
It was a special edition T-Rex 2 that I saw in an email last year, 2023. Went to the website to read more about it and placed an order request. I checked several days ago and they were still for sale. Glad you are a fan of the T-Rex watches 🦖
No that much of a size difference. The T-Rex 3 is slightly larger, just the bezel, and the screen is much brighter. The T-Rex 3 also feels faster when navigating. The installed a new heart-sensor, more accurate GPS, and longer battery life too...
I give that a detailed test soon... Sorry, I just unboxed the reMarkable Paper Pro after using the reMarkable 2 tablet. I've been wearing the T-Rex 3 for two weeks straight now and have more insight to share.
It does have a speaker 🔈, yet it is only used for beep alerts and there are no settings except for volume. After six days of use I still have a good 26GB of free space on the watch for more maps and downloaded MP3 music files.
Yes, two years later and AZ Falcon lasts about three to four days with AOD enabled. Those 3 to 4 days depends on your # number of notifications, screen brightness, use of the watch, GPS workouts, and 11 other variables. But yes, it can be done in real life. The newer T-Rex 3 smartwatch by Amazfit lasts a solid six days with AOD enabled. I recommend the T-Rex 3 over the Falcon.

I am thinking that there will not be a Falcon 2.0 for it has already been over two years since the Falcon was released and they have the Balance watch line, Cheetah, and T-Rex. Honestly, I do not think there is a need. For the most part, yeah, I did like the Falcon at first, but it was not made with $500 price tag in mind: 1. no microphone for Dick Tracey phone calls 2. no speaker 3. not enough RAM 4. The screen was too small while the bezel was too thick 5. The vibration motor could have utilized more haptic feedback 6. battery life should have been 24 hours longer 7. The screen should have and could have used 2,000 nit brightness Yes, I am nit-picky regarding watches, features, and what Users deserve.

After that is done, well, I need to finish the video of the T-Rex 3 versus the Galaxy Watch Ultra. I already wore them both and simply needed one more workout's worth of data. And after those two videos are done, and published, yes, I am going to wear the Amazfit Cheetah Pro and the T-Rex 3 for about five days/nights along with several workouts. If you can wait a solid four to nine days you shall have all your answers.

So after my first night of sleep, I wore the T-Rex on one arm and had my Garmin Venu 2 on the other arm. I slept kind of poorly and didn't feel great when i woke up. Garmin Venu 2 Sleep Score: 73, Body Battery 70 upon wake Amazfit T-Rex 3 Sleep Score 95, Readiness 81 upon wake Now if you were to ask me how I feel when I wake up today, i would say i feel more inline with Garmin, a bit on the lower side. The Amazfit feels a bit generous in the numbers given. Side note; im a bit confused with the settings for the Offline Assistant. Mainly the Offline Audio Wake-up Mode settings.
Yes, sleep scores & body battery 🔋 can be off for me too. I always check two devices in the morning and take the averages... As for the T-Rex 3, I will know more abouts its accuracy in 8 more days.

Уже есть т рекс 2 , но в 3 версии понравились полноценные карты, красный режим для тепловизора (для войны вна украине - самое то и РЭБ не глушит их gps сигнал) и металлический корпус, расстроили только расцветки (мой любимый песочный цвет пропал) , вообщем жду свою новинку через неделю
If you have your smartphone nearby, yes. You can use the smartphone to send an SOS signal. I'm not seeing an option to send any SOS or "I need help" signals on any of the Amazfit watches at this time, sorry...
Sorry, I don't agree. I was outside with both the T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 2, same sunlight and the screen on the T-Rex 3 was bright enough in direct sunlight, yes, I could even read my workout details with my polarized sunglasses covering my old eyes, oh yeah... 1. screen is brighter 2. new HR sensor 3. more accurate GPS 4. longer battery life 5. ZeppOS 4 6. microphone Those size reasons alone justified the upgrade for my hobby/addiction ;)
Okay, I see your point though, the size of the bezel is going to be too large for many wrists. I am lucky with the seven inches of wrist circumference from which I have had for the last 30+ years. The 51mm Fenix 7X Pro sapphire solar watch I had last year, nope, that was not kept in my collect for it giggled too much when I was running 8.77 miles per hour. And it was too heavy for all day & all night wear. Time to make my Day Four video "The T-Rex Showdown Four Days Later..."

I have the t rex 2 and was going to get the 3. But I'm learning that the t Rex 3 still can't make or take calls also you still can't actually make or respond to text other than preprogrammed responses. I just can't figure out the thinking on that. Guess I'll keep the t rex 2 for a while longer.

Yeah, the mic is cool and I've been using Zepp Flow more and more. it feels faster on the T-Rex 3 than the Cheetah Pro or the Balance.

Nope, it is a tiny speaker that just plays beeps. There is no customization of sounds at this time.

Nope, I tried a screen protect a few years ago and it was... a horrible experience and makes it incredibly difficult to film.

If you have your smartphone nearby, yes. You can use the smartphone to send an SOS signal. I'm not seeing an option to send any SOS or "I need help" signals on any of the Amazfit watches at this time, sorry...

Sorry, I don't agree. I was outside with both the T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 2, same sunlight and the screen on the T-Rex 3 was bright enough in direct sunlight, yes, I could even read my workout details with my polarized sunglasses covering my old eyes, oh yeah...

Those size reasons alone justified the upgrade for my hobby/addiction ;)
Okay, I see your point though, the size of the bezel is going to be too large for many wrists. I am lucky with the seven inches of wrist circumference from which I have had for the last 30+ years. The 51mm Fenix 7X Pro sapphire solar watch I had last year, nope, that was not kept in my collect for it giggled too much when I was running 8.77 miles per hour. And it was too heavy for all day & all night wear. Time to make my Day Four video "The T-Rex Showdown Four Days Later..."
I just got my T Rex 3 and a nice Hemsut nylon band (i don't get along with silicone bands) i love this watch

@@PeterHerget Amazon I always replace the silicone bands they are irritating to my wrist and I first had one for my GTR
It took me watching this video to learn the screws only come out on one side then push the rod through I was trying to remove the other side and obviously could not

I have the t rex 2 and was going to get the 3. But I'm learning that the t Rex 3 still can't make or take calls also you still can't actually make or respond to text other than preprogrammed responses. I just can't figure out the thinking on that. Guess I'll keep the t rex 2 for a while longer.
