I dont know why everyone hates this game on it's current state, this game is still very fun and awesome and I cannot help but think that this game has a bright future ahead of them filled with not only new content, but general gameplay polish according to community feedback! We should be blessed at such an underrated gem!
I think it's because the people who played before the 1.0 update their progress got wiped and they got mad about it and started hating on the game
@@walterwipeswipes2544 1.0 is also a bit of a different game than on EA, I'm not too convinced it's for the worse, but it doesn't seem like it. The gameplay and combat is still incredible and smooth, and I hope for a great future on this game and bring polish and features that players have been yearning for months now to make it better than it was on full release.
Yeah, I was upset with the change at 1st, but it is much easier to get a intentional planned build, and they gave us some of our resources for those of us that played the heck out of the early access version
the game only gets better and better, and this comes from an early access player before the release of 1.0

I hope this starts a trend leading other good IP's to make spin off games with their characters. The combat is so nice, I'm enjoying it a lot. Hope they add more content and difficulty levels.

I saw one of the chinese comment,this player has like 10years rogue-like experience,he complained abt the cons and stuff, and the developers look into it and really change it in the next patch, I think it is why this game become so well after full release
Really took me aback when I see my mostly completed save file gone and had to start from scratch. Then it was like playing a completely different game as they changed EVERYTHING from EA. After doing one run (wow was Susanoo hard!), I am not sure if it's better or worse, but its still GOTY IMO. The gameplay is just SO freaking good, story is engaging and Entropy system looks interesting ala Hades and Astral Ascent.
It took me multiple trips (finally did it on Es) to get my first win. Would have been Taokaka but I lost my hp mixture too early!

@@Veedotme Yeah I almost had him with Jin on my 2nd try but he caught me in a combo on the 2nd phase that took out most of my health and he was down to about 5% health. Maybe its just not having enough meta progression but he seems a lot harder than he was in EA, which I think is a good thing. He was almost an after thought in EA.
I'm so excited to play again. It was GOTY for me in 2023 and it sounds like all the changes are in the right direction.
Really competing with Oblivion Override, but I love both games and the slight differences make both worth playing. What a time to be an action rogue gamer. Can't wait to see the rest of the year.
@@Emtebe there are easy mode normal mode and hard mode. Maybe more modes exist.
I got it a few days ago and been having a blast, personally I want to see either Terumi or Hazama, though I can absolutely see, them putting in first Tager, Azrael and maybe Kagura, Bang would be super cool if they gave him the super saiyan mode
I waited till the game was released to play it. And omg. It's awesome!
Es has the most crazy combo when it come to potential, combine them appropriately will make a fantastic, beautiful combo to the point where I hit random button and she do some awesome combo that I dont know how to do that again lol.
Lambda's tips: with mp recover buff and max out main skill's potential you can just stand in the air and spam skill + attack and clear any stage and boss swiftly.

I third the nomination for all, but if I could only have one I'd pick Blazblue tbh.
Oblivion Override is a little too RNG heavy to try to make specific builds so the replay is a little less motivating than BB. Between Astral and BB it comes down to art style and combo execution for me being preferred in BB.

Being able to stun bosses is so satisfying. This combat is on a completely different level. I think the character action combat in this should be mandatory for future action roguelikes
had this game on my wishlist cause i love flashy hack and slash action, bought the game last night and i am absolutely LOVING it! Thank you for your review as it explain some of the things in game cause the game goes 0-100 real quick and im having a hard time to know these things and there's not much explanation in the tutorial so this video really helps.
The character build and story reveal is very much like Hades, which I really appreciate. Hades is an awesome game that did it right, so being able to pick this game up and seeing the familiarity really helps me learn this game faster and easier while getting immersed in it.
leave Vampire Surivors alone hahaha it's just a different type of game. I so hyped to get back to EE after the early access :D

I doubt they'll ever add Kagura. They mostly reuse character lines from BBCPEX-BBCF, and since Kagura's VA passed away, I don't think they can reuse his lines without it causing some sort of controversy. Yeah, Kagura already got new VA in BBDW, but his BBDW appearance doesn't have much lines, and I doubt they even have permission to use lines outside of CPEX-CF.

I played a little bit a few weeks ago and it had already changed significantly from a couple months back, but some of these release changes are just another step up, holy moly.
I don't think they'll add Arakune as a playable character cause it's a boss right now. But I still really want it. Its unconventional attack style is so fun.
Looks cool. As a BB fan I will wait for new characters and see what they'll do with the current 1.0 shitshow. Personally I liked the current system than EA

Why are so many players are praising the EA more than the release on steam reviews ?
I have no idea, maybe it's because of stuff that players are used to in EA change significantly, thinking it is for the worst, but it doesn't seem like it's for the worse. I don't see any dumbing down going on on it's gameplay infrastructure...

I don't think so. Well as of now, I think they will focus on patches/updates/dlc then maybe have it hit consoles in 1-2 years.
As far as i know, this is a game that spend very little time in Early Access, compared to some other titles.
What i mean, is the devs of this game did not f*ck around, and wanted to actually finish the damn thing.
All I'm saying is Rachael needs to be added

I wasn't expecting such drastic changes from early access to 1.0, but I also wasn't expecting my progress getting wiped. Not a huge deal, gives me an excuse to play again outside of just doing mindless runs.
As for who I want added to the roster, my 5 most wanted are Makoto, Bullet, Azrael, Nine, and Kagura. If I were to predict the next character, I think it would likely be either Rachel or Tsubaki/Izayoi. One thing that could be interesting is seeing how they would make Carl or Relius work.

from what we know... it will depend on sales as the remaining devs said "we will make what we can with the money we still have." and there was talk that apparently the producer sold his (or one of his) houses to keep everyone paid@@KillaCheeto56

Jin is an auto win. To easy to win using him. I just constantly freeze the boss barely need to dodge.

hi there, after this video from January, I posted 4 more videos for BBEE (2 runs, 2 guides). Since then, multiple other games have updated/released and have been posted here. I have several gigabytes of footage for Jin and Es that I want to turn into another character showcase, but there's been too many game releases to keep up 🤷🏾♂️

Got another game recommendation for yah Vee, ever heard of Rabi Ribi (the girl bunny metroidvania.) The art was a turnoff for me for so long, but finally tried it anyway.
Fantastic game, though you can skip most of the story honestly. Currently on a normal playthrough, though many different paths and difficulty options available.
The highest unlocksble one (not including the dlc cut content) is BEX, or bunny extinction. Apparently that is where the game truly shines, though I'm not at that skill level yet.

The online mode in this game is 2v2v2v2 Battle Royal alike. You traverse in a location, where you fight small enemies, bosses and other player teams.
by best "characters" you mean the cheesest ones.... there are some characters that i personally think would be a better choice, than some of these characters. but none the less i really do enjoy the game. as always thanks for the tips and video. look forward to more like this Vee.
