Liza - I think you two are getting better at this. You describing what you feel about what you see, the tastes, the smells really pulls me in. You often do a great job of giving a sense of place. If I could make a request on the camera work - pause on more things. Linger a moment on the vastness of that amazing market building. Maybe do a glimpse of one of those columns, the same way you pause on the market stalls. Even as you were walking out, I was fascinated by some of the doors and gates you were walking past. And in places where you have a commonality of language, interact a moment with the people and ask them something about themselves or where they are living.
I took my wife and 4 year old daughter from Houston, Texas to Dushanbe for family vacation earlier this year. We also visited Uzbekistan. WOW, the whole region was amazing. The Tajik people were incredibly friendly. I will never forget, we were going to a restaurant one night and the driver told me it was cash only. The driver INSISTED on waiting at the restaurant while we ate and then drove us around to look for an ATM. That alone would be amazing, he gave us all the money he had to pay for the food first! I was just blown away. I tried to give him a massive tip after we got to the ATM and he refused to take any money over the fare despite having waited 45 minutes for us at the restaurant. What a wonderful country and people.

Its a Traditional Tajik dish named Kurotob. Like thin peaces of bread in yoghurt souse, with vegetables, greens and meat. Very delicious😇
