"Who is this irresistible creature that has an insatiable love for the dead?"
Me: "...a necrophiliac?"
I was thinking that too 💀
Jeffrey Dahmer approves
Living dead girl 💀☠you are killing it down rob zombie
Dracula
I overheard some Twilight fans back in the day having the Edward/Jacob debate. I told them, "You know, making out with a vampire is still considered necrophilia, right?" and walked away.
If this is not playing at my funeral im not dying
Same
Triple same, but it might need to have some lyrics changed.
Love this song ,lol I can get killed too this song, I'm joking 😅

Ha!
I love that his wife has kinda always been his muse with everything he’s done, even before they got married. I truly hope their marriage is as happy and healthy as it looks on the outside

Me I love horror movies
Hahaa🤣got dat right homie I grew up watching horror movies especially bride of chucky and I always thought this song goes hard it so badass🖤🖤
Yes I am haha
My dad showed me this song when I was 6 and I remember that moment 😂
Rob has aged like fine wine. When it came out, I found it mildly amusing, his vocal style, the entire act. Now I think it was high art for rock music, nice niche he created for himself.
My 12-year-old son showed me this song and now whenever I pick him up after practice we listen to Rob Zombie together!
That's metal!
Your son is cool
Not many kids listen to this music nowadays. Your son got a uniquely good taste in music.
It's funny how many people considered Rob to be some kind of satanist when he just really digged old school horror.
Wat. One of the greatest albums of all time devils music volume one
It's cus people think ur insane for watching horror
He's more just a modern day Screamin jay Hawkins. Someone who operates way outside the box of normality.
Some people like to pretend their lives are rainbows and cupcakes. They dont like to see people be "creepy and scary" because its not "normal" when in reality it is
Do not let him deceive you. ITS ALL LIES AND GAMES AND SILLY TRICKS.
I wanna have a marriage like Rob And Sheri Moon Zombie. Honestly, the fact that they make movies together and he’s a living legend without any vices (not drinking or doing drugs) these two are the most ideal musician/married couple to be modeled after. 😂
Cool af
@Dogman tossed my salad awesome
@Dogman tossed my salad um no he doesnt..

She is his muse and always the star of everything he does. They have such a romantic relationship.
Happy 25th anniversary to one of the best rock albums of the late 90's!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Ya the 90s with many zombies and movement of haunted houses plays and for some of us Romeo and Juliet wasn't enough so turned to music while my dad recorded his own seemed to likely to be here instead
Feels wild as hell to come back to this song since hearing it as a teen. Rob ZOmbie rocks!
One is just a bigger and bigger fan of his as time goes on. 🤟 I am addicted to this and King Freak and The Munsters is pretty funny.
Yes I am 68 and I agree 100%
This feels like it should be played at every haunted house during Halloween
Im a worker at a haunted house on halloween and the night before we always play rob zombie and it pumps me up to scare
While two people are having sex in a pile of the undead....👀👀
I work and have for years at a haunted house and I play the heck out of it

Someday in the future a sweet old couple will hear this on the radio and say "They're playing our song."
yixnorb ... lol! That reminds me of something. That is as bad as my husband’s and my song. Hot Blooded by Foreigner. We didn’t have “a song”, so we said ok, the next song to come on the radio is our song. It could have been worse ... could have ended up with “Dust in the Wind” by Kansas. 😁

For those that don't know, the music video is based on the horror 1920s silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Yess was looking for this comment. Studied it in my film studies class this year
Rob Zombie is truly an artist. This musical style, while dark, always has a sense of humor. He uses themes of death and demons, but always with a wink and a nod to the audience, like we’re in on the joke. I’m not really a metalhead, but I’ve always found his music to be uplifting and energizing, in a macabre sort of way.
Facts
I feel the same way. His song Dragula was named after the Munster's family race car. Horror doesn't get more wholesome than that.
Don't have to be a metalhead to like great music
I love metal and I'm glad to see someone enjoying it metalhead or not
So you like living dead girl and dragula? I’d bet those are the only songs of his you know. His movies are god awful and besides those two songs his music isn’t very good. His real name is Richard B. Cummings.
Only rob zombie can make metal music videos perfectly dark yet silly
Marilyn Manson and him!
and creepy
Felix
seriously tho. you can tell he isn't taking himself half as seriously as some metal/industrial bands that are actually trying to make weird and creepy videos that end up being silly anyway. it's glorious.
inspired by the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari... great silent film 😊
LYRICS:
Who is this irresistible creature who has an insatiable love for the dead?
Living Dead Girl
"The same thing you are"
Ow
Rage in the cage
And piss upon the stage
There's only one sure way
To bring the giant down
Defunct the strings
Of cemetery things
With one flat foot
On the devil's wing
Crawl on me
Sink into me
Die for me
Living dead girl
Crawl on me
Sink into me
Die for me
Living dead girl
"The same thing you are"
Ow
Raping the geek
And hustling the freak
Like a hunchback juice
On a sentimental noose
Operation filth
They love to love the wealth
Of an SS whore
Making scary sounds
Crawl on me
Sink into me
Die for me
Living dead girl
Crawl on me
Sink into me
Die for me
Living dead girl
Ow
Cyclone Jack
Hallucinating hack
Thinks Donna Reed
Eats dollar bills
Goldfoot's machine
Creates another fiend
So beautiful
They'll make you kill
Crawl on me
Sink into me
Die for me
Living dead girl
Crawl on me
Sink into me
Die for me
Living dead girl
Blood on her skin
Dripping with sin
Do it again
Living dead girl
Blood on her skin
Dripping with sin
Do it again
Living dead girl
When I heard this song for the first time, at the age of 10 in the intro to "Bride of Chucky", it absolutely changed my brain chemistry.

This is the only song I never got tired of during Halloween Horror Nights (I work at Universal)
Not surprised Universal and Rob Zombie have a very complicated relationship
Ya like universal shot down his movie idea then like almost 20 years later they open a attraction about the movie they shut down 🤦♂️
I’m a rob zombie fan🤘🏻
Best photo op zone of that year.
My favorite zone and house of that year. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Rob zombie really deserves more recognition then he gets.... i am always appalled when someone doesnt know his music especially when they listen to the genre in general. It should be a crime lol
💯
Had the honor of seeing him in concert. He put on the best show! Didn't know it was bike week. Everyone was cool. Was standing there and got punched in the face full blown I shook it off and kept watching anyway. Nothing stops me when it comes to my Rock Heroes!! 😎🔥🤘
I love how it's done in the style of an old silent film
if you look closely it's based mostly on The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, great movie i recommend
There is some real genius behind this video
Thats alot of rob/white zombies music
It's base and n a real live film Cabinet of Dr. Calighari
This is an homage to the early 20s German expressionist film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," widely considered one of the first horror movies.
Smart boi
You all believe I am insane. That is not true. It is the Direktor who is insane!
Also maybe the first movie with a twist ending if I remember it correctly; it's been over 20 years since I've seen it.
A pretty good one too, got the sets perfect
@@burrick2245 Actually looks like the exact set minus that one staircase that leads to everything lol (city clerk/police/jail etc.)
Great memories of my sister and I growing up in the 90s, discovering this song through Bride Of Chucky. We knew all the lyrics by the time we were 9-10 years old 🤣🤘 “Well hello, dolly!”
Even after all these years (1998!!) Hellbilly Deluxe is still so painfully good. No matter how many years or distance there's been between myself and the album, it always sneaks up on me. Just in time too; quintessential Halloween energy.

@@jackmakmorn True I guess

It's proof that you don't need some big, complex, difficult riff for a song to be good. All you need is something that's catchy, something that hooks the listener.
Good ol John 5

Rob Zombie is the badass horror master of all time. He totally rocks!
Love the video to this song. Harkens back to the old silent horror movies and the ol timy carnivals with the freak shows.

Homage to the German Expressionist masterpiece: Dr Cagliari, a hypnotist who uses a sleepwalker to commit murders for him.
I get more White Zombie (the movie, to be clear)...you know, with Bela Lugosi?
@@ShadowCat1321 you can find Dr Caligari on youtube. I just watched it. So good. Def worth a watch. Then come back here and tell me. I will check white zombie
@@WarReport. I will do that! Thanks!! White Zombie is /such/ a good film from 1932. You have to like old movies to appreciate it, of course. =P
@@ShadowCat1321 you'll like Dr. Caligari. I'm watching white zombie now. Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is from 1920. Low budget due to no money in Germany after their loss in WW1. Painted bizarre sets.
@@ShadowCat1321 I really liked it. Especially the first scene, and the sugar mill scene. Beaumont made some bad choices

im going to have this playing at my funeral, but its actually going to be my friends funeral and im going to scare him while hes getting into the coffin
You know, I already respected Rob for his horror aesthetic, but this music video brought it over the edge to fantastic! For those not in the know, this is essentially an homage to one of the oldest horror movies ever made, before even the days of Bela Lugosi's version of Dracula. Called The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, the plot is pretty close to the music video, albeit less condensed.
The opening sound effect in this song is also from the trailer for Wes Craven's original 1970s the Last House on the Left.
I have seen the Expressionist styled, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari movie. An excellent film that's usually required film viewing in any film history class. Definitely is the stylistic influence for this music video.
"The Cabinet of Dr. caligari" is widely conaidered to basically be the first horror movie and was an important film for German expressionism. Great film! Something about those old silent movies are just creepy even when trying to be serious or humorous lol. My introduction to the silent film culture was nosferatu. It was and still is my all time favorite silent film and perhaps one of my favorite movies period. My love for the macabre and horror films all came from 3 films; Nosferatu, the 1975 Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the Omen (the original film)
First sentence sounds like a direct quote from Wikipedia or something lol
@@nickfehst it's just common knowledge of the film. But I see what you mean.
ROB ZOMBIE!!!!! The man is a genius! Love his work!!!
My first exposure to Rob Zombie was this song playing at the begining of some Chucky movie. I'll never forget how I immediatly hit rewind on the VHS and rewatched the opening credits 4 or 5 times just so I could re-listen to this song. I really didn't even care about the movie at that point. I just remember wanting more of that sound. I mean my ten year self didn't even know what to call that to ask for more of it.
Not that it'd have done me much good anyways in a pre-internet era. You could have told me "that young man is called industrial music". Wouldn't have helped me find it on the radio. You could have even pointed me towords the album this song's on, my mom wasn't gunna go the store and buy me a cd with a scary looking zombie man on the cover and H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS in the title
my mom walked down the aisle to this song at her halloween wedding

Chucky brought me here...but the 1920's German expressionism film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," made me come back for more!

+smiley satanson: That's a sample from the trailer for 1971's "La figlia di Frankenstein," released in the U.S. in 1973 as "Lady Frankenstein." The "What are you thinking about? The same thing you are" sample is from 1971's "Les lèvres rouges," also known as "Daughters of Darkness." "Goldfoot's machine creates another fiend so beautiful they make you kill" is a reference to 1965's "Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine." The song also samples the music from the trailer for "Last House on the Left." "Operation Filth they love to love the wealth of an SS whore making scary sounds" is a reference to 1975's infamous "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS" (which Rob spoofed in his "Werewolf Women of the SS" fake trailer in "Grindhouse.")
