Nick awoke in the alien bed. He couldn’t move. Then he realized Therra had thrown a massive purple arm over his chest. She had also pushed an even more massive purple thigh across his hips. Her face was buried in his neck. There was no way he would be able to shift her massive seven foot six inch form. The gentle purple light given off by her bare skin and the gentle feelings brushing the back of his mind lulled him back to sleep. The bond was strengthening with every moment they were together. Her blood and her venom coursed through his veins. Her nourishing milk had helped heal his broken body. Nick had begun to feel her heat rising through their bond. His own heat rising to match hers.
I'm not done listening, but I have something bugging me, so paused for this comment. Get that Jacob is utterly shocked to realize how she's been observing him; I can totally relate to that. But how, 30 minutes into the story, has the elephant in the room not been addressed? After 13 YEARS of covert observation, WHY is she revealing herself now? What changed? I'm going back to it now, but this is a sticking point I'm having trouble getting past.
She could give Mr. Spock pointers on remaining impersonal. Apparently, revealing her presence was just another phase in her research. There was no compelling dynamic drawing the listener in, beyond her curiosity. She's a very cold emotionless fish, like he was living with a robotic analyst. Can't recommend this story; left me feeling unsatisfied.

put Nothing in writing, keep your mind private, and strangers far away.
