@ghostface3652 Stafford 13 seasons before he won his 1st playoff game and a Superbowl. Funny, Hurts is being elevated by Barkley, Smith, Brown, and Geodert. Purdy is being elevated by CMC, Kittle, Aiyuk, and Deeboo. See how that works. Dak elevated Ceedee to the Cowboys alltime reception leader last year passing 3 x SB champion and 1st ballot HOFer Michael Irvin, and will pass 3 x SB champion and 1st ballot HOFer Aikman next season as the Cowboys all time leader in passing yards, with one weapon in Ceedee and no run game.
Dak could do us all a favor and just retire...he should have enough money to live the rest of his life quite comfortably-at least it would give the Cowboys an opportunity to get out of paying him that ridiculous contract and free up some money to actually build a good TEAM-not giving such a huge amount to one player.
It’s JERRY JONES!!!!!!!! What other NFL team has the GM coaching the team instead of the head coach??? Dak is breaking down because JERRY refuses to solidify the OL, leaving Dak to do way too much than he should. Same thing they did to Romo.

Name Another in history that had to deal with this crap.
@marlonbrando33 Dak is a top QB. Is he Mahomes or Allen from a talent perspective no. But when healthy he was able to drag flawed teams to double digit wins and a playoff run. Other than 2021 when can we Say Dak had a team that could really compete in the playoffs

I like Dak, love his story, etc. My question is, what is it about Dak's game that is in the upper echelon of NFL QBs other than being the face of a franchise?
What's his story? His mom chose poorly and his dad left (typical) and he was born with some talent, just not enough to take a team to the Super Bowl. Then he fleeced an old man worried about his mortality out of millions. Great story.
Didn't we see the same thing with Romo? Go back a little further, and it was the same with Aikman, too. What about other positions like RB and WR?How about Zeke and Gallup? Jerry always keeps players one contract too long.
I’ve had a lot of experience with injuries playing at high level. So many are just chance truly. They can certainly become more common is someone is not in good enough physical shape, is overtraining and not recovering, not eating good nutrition.
Dak has reached his celling 4th round QB who had reached his 3rd Contract with massive pays getting over valued because the market says so he's not a player that can lift the level of play with the team when things not going right he needs a running game with a defense that gives the offense a short field to succeed as a QB he's damaged goods and Jerry gets what he paid for
The hamstring and calf tie in to that ankle injury! You can't tell me any different. It's all connected and works in unison. Is the hip next? Hope not.
Dak got the $$$ and wasn't ready for the scrutiny and pressure that comes with highest paid player...After Green Bay L I was done with him...Right cowboys need to move on before the 4 year deal ..Eat it trade him or force him on the bench until he agrees to a trade
Why is no one talking about the fact that he's the only one who cares about the team like this. He is in tears while Trevon and Ceedee are smiling and laughing filming videos and Micah's doing his podcast. You know what Dak is doing? Showing up, caring, still putting in work. If your 9 year QB says he feels sharper than ever, and the issues are there, the clear issue is the offense and the surrounding parts. Not him lol, we can go get Trey Lance or Daniel Jones, or shaduer, you think they are going to see things "so clear" and do well? Lol
Duk is Bobbys boyfriend. Of course he still would've signed him. This could've been Duk last season, who cares if they would've owned him $40 mil in dead money. He's trash. 2-5 in the playoffs versus a washed off russel wilson and a washd off tom brady. He hasn't done and will never do anything. Stop pretending he can win a championship. The real problem is jerry jones but don't get fooled that Duk is SB caliber QB. He's not
Emmitt Smith predicted this setup for failure before the season even started. Dak got paid, but so did CD Lamb. Troy Aikman called out lazy route running on CD and other receivers. So is CD going to renegotiate his salary? Jerry Jones spited this team because he was angry he had to pay both. This got Dak hurt like last time. For the record no quarterback is worth $60 million a year. Now restructure both and free up space. For all the people saying how Dak sucks just remember what quarterback that has gotten you multiple 10-12 wins over the years. How has the current starter and Trey Lance looked since Dak is out? Regular season means nothing right?
Dak is not done yet. He is fine. I do believe this is his last window with the cowboys. He has enough left to make the best of it. He has to come back strong for the stretch run. Yoga. I would work those legs in the offseason if I was Dak!
He’s not the same player and he’s breaking down physically like Tony Romo did. This is inevitable playing the position. In addition he exhibits some hesitation in the pocket as a result of such. He can’t and doesn’t run anymore.
With Dak, they were an 8/9 team at best. The contract limits who they can sign. So does Cee Dees'. Dak makes 7 mil more than Mahomes. That doesn't compute. Don't care he is the latest big contract. He should make $35 mil per year. What could you do with $25 mil in FA? That's a top lineman and a decent receiver.

Didn't bother him when he wanted to be paid the highest paid quarterback. Does leave much money for other players on the to buy better talent. So, he has his money and a poor team around him. Its all about the money..
Why should Dak have taken less money? This is a business. And Jerry has shown that he's never been all in on Dak. He always disrespected Dak at contract time. Although Dak has never won the big one, he has consistently gotten you to the dance. Not to mention been the face of the franchise. He never gets in off-season trouble, speaks great in interview etc. Didn't the guy win NFL man of the year? And what has Jerry done? Didn't Dak get franchised twice? That's BS. And then the circus with CD. Why make him wait? All he's done since you drafted him has been a dominate WR. Isn't that the plan? Draft and develop into All-Pro's? If I were Dak, I'd have taken Jerry for every damn penny.
JJ knew exactly what he was doing when he said the "all in" comment. Imo he's manipulating everyone that follows this team. That comment, and the actions and results that have followed are the final nail in the coffin for me not listening to team management interviews. Its word salad BS!
Dak's $90 Million Cap hit (next year) is exactly why Dallas couldn't sign any free agents. Dallas has no players on offense because Dak's cap hit next year is $90 Million, so yes it's all greedy Dak’s fault. Don’t ever say he is a team leader, there is no team in Dak. Dak is about Dak getting as much as he can and don’t for a minute think those 30 Dallas players that are on the minimum see Dak as a leader.
Ok ok look: I DO NOT have a problem with Dak getting extended. He should have been. He's good (note i said good. Not great. Not elite) QB. Its the amount he got and how long it took. Dak should be making comparable to Kirk Cousins money. He should be leading that tier. This falls square on Jerry. I'm not going to hate on Dak for getting his money. I'd do the same thing in his position. Imagine you're at your job, whatever it is, and you know for a fact that you can get a raise from your boss if you play things right. You mean to tell me none of yall would do that?
A QB in noticeable decline and the team is stuck with him for 4 years, he's also the type that would sit as a backup or hang around before requesting a trade, If I'm the Cowboys at the 2025 draft and Cameron Ward is available I pull the trigger.
If dak thinks that he is at the top of his game, don’t you think this shows you that he is incapable of bringing his team to a Super Bowl and winning a Super Bowl? He’s a fourth rounder that has won two playoff games over his near decade career. you win two playoff games in one season you’re still not gonna make the Super Bowl. we have seen his ceiling and his ceiling is of a good quarterback that’s all and that can’t win when the defenses are tougher when the teams are tougher when they are coached better that’s when he struggles… and now he has a second contract where he is grossly overpaid.
They should have never signed Dak to that amount of money. EVER. These guys were all on the bandwagon of re-signing Dak. Now they are backpedaling like fools. Jerry made the decision to pay Dak. Jerry made the decision to wait to make the decision. This whole thing is Jerry's fault. Not smart money management & talent assessment. I don't care if Jerry paid Dak earlier. It doesn't matter. They should have never ever paid Dak that amount of money. PERIOD. If you have a GOAT pay him. If not, PAY everyone else. And Dak ain't no GOAT.
Dak USED to be a tank. But yeah, I would consider him injury prone at this point. I know without a doubt that Dak is going to miss like 1 or 2 games a year. That's just who he's kinda been the last 5 years. But going forward, I have very little hope for Dak. He's a 30 year old with a 50-60 year old ankle and needs to wear a walking boot in the offseason. He just had his hamstring rip off the bone. So I imagine his legs are just shot going forward. Forget asking him to run anymore. He may try. But it's gonna look like a LOT from this year....he's just always gonna get caught from behind for a -2 yard sack. Maaaaybe once a year he gets the perfect call against man coverage that allows him to have a 20 yard scramble. But most of the time he's just not gonna be fast or strong enough to be a running QB anymore. But I just can't believe they gave a dude who needs a walking boot in the offseason EVERYTHING HE COULD WANT in the new contract.

Dak- RB Dowdle 402, Elliot 179

Seems Borrow has more productive weapons and he's 4-7?
Bengals defense is better in 4 of the 6 categories compared to Dallas.
Dak Prescott always and always will be the problem, paying an average QB money that he will never live up to nor earn, He's not even top 10
Dak apologists don’t realize how hard it is to win in todays league with a pure pocket passer unless your roster is loaded like the lions or Brady’s bucs or the 2021 rams. It’s Puts your offense at a huge disadvantage in todays league
😂 Stafford and Mahomes the only 2 active QBs to win a chip in the last 5, isn't Stafford a pocket passer
@ that rams team was loaded you’re making my point. And we can’t even get out the second round in a division with 4 easy wins.
@ghostface3652
What QB is advancing in the playoffs with talent at other positions seems like you're proving my point
@@EdTex7643 I don’t even get what point your trynna making. Bottom line is it’s year 10 for Dak without a NFCC game or sb appearence to show for it and this roster is not loaded enough to help elevate Dak and Dak isn’t elite to elevate a lacking roster. Therefore, draft a qb and prepare for the future instead of doing the same thing over and over
@ghostface3652
Stafford 13 seasons before he won his 1st playoff game and a Superbowl.
Dallas CAN let Dak go, they're just going to have to take a hit.
Might as well do it Now while Dallas isn't going to win any time soon.
Lol they couldn't pay anyone after paying a shitty player that much
This fan base deserves this terrible season. We're the only fan base that can have a top QB. And the Owner throws him under the bus every chance he gets, the GM gives him extremely flawed rosters every year, and the coaching staff every year are laughably bad.
Name Another in history that had to deal with this crap.
I wish we had a top QB, the fans that thought Dak was an elite quarterback got exactly what they needed a taste of reality
@marlonbrando33 Dak is a top QB. Is he Mahomes or Allen from a talent perspective no. But when healthy he was able to drag flawed teams to double digit wins and a playoff run. Other than 2021 when can we Say Dak had a team that could really compete in the playoffs

Except Lamar and maybe Daniels cuz their legs give when the extra boost. But you give Dak the weapons and the coaching he's doing what they have or better
I like Dak, love his story, etc. My question is, what is it about Dak's game that is in the upper echelon of NFL QBs other than being the face of a franchise?

Dudes cooked
They need to find a QB somehow somewhere for next year and after!
Didn't we see the same thing with Romo? Go back a little further, and it was the same with Aikman, too. What about other positions like RB and WR?How about Zeke and Gallup? Jerry always keeps players one contract too long.
I didn't hear that about Aikman
Romo was had way more upside

I’ve had a lot of experience with injuries playing at high level. So many are just chance truly. They can certainly become more common is someone is not in good enough physical shape, is overtraining and not recovering, not eating good nutrition.
The awful duk, the worst signing in the History of Sports. Only fools & Frauds ever thought the duk could play.
THE DUK!
For sure
I cry every time I watch them play
He should ask for a trade
Dak has reached his celling 4th round QB who had reached his 3rd Contract with massive pays getting over valued because the market says so he's not a player that can lift the level of play with the team when things not going right he needs a running game with a defense that gives the offense a short field to succeed as a QB he's damaged goods and Jerry gets what he paid for
Dak realizes he’s washed and got paid.
Yup, fleeced the organization.

The hamstring and calf tie in to that ankle injury! You can't tell me any different. It's all connected and works in unison. Is the hip next? Hope not.
Naw, the ankle injury was real.
Dak is done and I’m glad
Dak got the $$$ and wasn't ready for the scrutiny and pressure that comes with highest paid player...After Green Bay L I was done with him...Right cowboys need to move on before the 4 year deal ..Eat it trade him or force him on the bench until he agrees to a trade
Mentally tough. Dak choked on 3rd down in the GB playoff game and missed Cee Dee on the crossing route which was at least 30 yards with catch and run.
He's not

2nd in MVP just one year ago 😂😂
He is a major contributor to the misery.
Someone is having an issue with their microphone. I think it’s Shan. Sounds like bits of distortion are coming through.
You don’t pay Dak and let him walk!
he cried when he saw the stadium show him we have all jumped off his band wagon and left in the 3rd quarter
Dak is not done yet. He is fine. I do believe this is his last window with the cowboys. He has enough left to make the best of it. He has to come back strong for the stretch run. Yoga. I would work those legs in the offseason if I was Dak!
Dak was done when he got drafted.

Im a cowboy fan but even I am not blind to the fact that dak cannot win 3 much less 4 playoff games against high level opponents in the playoffs so what are we really doing here with him? if its not 2 the games where he is just "off" with his throws or consistently throwing 2 yard outs on 3rd and 8 and then making a furious comeback at the end so dak apologists like yourself can defend him ...its either that or he is just horrible in big games. so no I reiterate does dak know how bad he is? as educated fans we do and unless we hit on 50% of our draft class and the previous class gets better at our best we will end up losing in the first round

@@bdgrey I don't hate dak I actually like him but I believe he is average. you either sign him at 30m and build the team around defense line and running game or he needs to have the talent to make up for the teams deficiencies. dak is not the teams biggest problem but if he cannot perform at a high level against championship caliber teams we can't win a Super Bowl and we have more than enough info to deduce this is a fact
@@macglobex9507 You called him mediocre dude. He's one of 5 QB's with multiple Pro Bowls and an All Pro, and you're calling him mediocre.
There dozens of factors that go into how well a QB plays or doesn't play in any given game. It's not as simple as individual talent.
No one cares! Jerry isn't going to make any moves because he is winning financially. You all are wasting your time and effort. So many teams are playing better than dALLass, yet still in headlines, as if they're truly "underachieving"! Too many "individuals" trying to play a "team" sport. Ego problems all over this team.

Another weak sports argument from a casual, hilarious 😂
You guys are Jerry's men. But I love your podcast, always listen!!! I just think Dak at $10 Million is a good qb at $90 Million he is bad.
Cowboy fans! The all black Cowboy uniform next season means Super Bowl every season! Jerry guarantees it 😊!!
Accordingly mike fisher says they will 'push a button ' and have 100 million in cap space and go on a spending spree this off season 😂
Jerry Jones and Dak fans think alike
The path to success should be drafting Ashton Jeanty & draft Arch in 2026.
Just open your bank app and count your money. You’ll be good.
Ok ok look:
I DO NOT have a problem with Dak getting extended.
They better think about drafting his replacement picking this high in the draft
As long as it's not Sanders, Ward or the kid from Alabama. Honestly we should wait until 2026 to take Manning.
Dak is weak, Jerry surrounds himself with weak people that won't question him.
At least he got his bag…
What’s next for DAK? Build a small stepladder to help him get back on his bulldozer?
Dak sucks!!
A QB in noticeable decline and the team is stuck with him for 4 years, he's also the type that would sit as a backup or hang around before requesting a trade, If I'm the Cowboys at the 2025 draft and Cameron Ward is available I pull the trigger.
Will Bland accrue a year this season? Or no if he doesn't play at all
If dak thinks that he is at the top of his game, don’t you think this shows you that he is incapable of bringing his team to a Super Bowl and winning a Super Bowl?
