I'm nearing the 1-ALL with B-EXY and I'm in awe of this replay, incredible stuff. Given me some ideas on how to improve my route and humbled me at the same time, kudos!
Meanwhile, me, who played the regular DOJ, using Save States: *cries in Loop 1-5* I never popped the hypers in my play, never even try to chain hits (except near end of Stage 2), and always bank the Hypers. Only used it on bosses. Now i see why i always die on Stage 3 and Stage 4
The stage 4 boss randomly chooses between two different attacks at that point. If the discs he shoots out have a space in between each one, it's harder to use them to fill up your hyper gauges, and you won't get as many hits from them for the end of stage bonus. You can dodge this attack and wait for him to start over, where he will hopefully use the other version of that attack that has three discs pressed together. That one will generate more hyper gauge and hits.
I noticed you're an expert sorcer striker (ps4) player. Would you please explain the main actions that increase and decrease rank? Also, is there a specific autofire setting that works better than the others? Thanks

I'm not sure what the highest hit count anyone has gotten is. 4100+ in 1-5 is definitely possible though. (Ignoring the instant hyper bug in the original release)
