Igor Krutoy composed this song in 1994 and was a huge hit for Alle Pugavich(Russian singer) misspelled last name, sorry. Dimash was born in 1994. When Igor Krutoy came out of retirement just for Dimash, he offered it to Dimash and voila, you see the results. Incredible story to me. ❤️

Dimash has such a massive catalog of phenomenal performances it is hard to choose one that is a favorite but this is packed with powerful moments and truly angelic intensity. I thought the sustained note at the end of this was great until I heard STRANGER. Your willingness to be moved by the tenderness of Dimash's performance is refreshing.
Seriously, what I think many people fail to comprehend is just how much input and actual control Dimash exerts over anything that he does, he is the complete Vocalist, with skills that cover the whole spectrum and full range of vocals. Dimash is a composer, arranger and artiste, the complete 'package' who can switch smoothly between styles, genre and of course octaves without dropping a note. I know of no other singer that wields this ability so effortlessly and this truly sets him apart, above and beyond in point of fact.

Here are some songs quite unlike anything you've covered so far: Ogni Petra (Arnau? version); Ti amo cosi (a trio with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian); Be With Me (important - the Official Music Video version shows a whole new side to Dimash!!!; Samaltau (Tokyo Jazz version, Kazakh ballad, incredible instrumentation). I have to watch Dimash every day and have done since I discovered him four years ago. Yes, he can sing from the very lowest to the highest but there are songs which have none of those yet are among my top favourites. Quaragym-ai is a song composed by one of Dimash’s beloved mentors who died of covid. Dimash and the pianist present this as a tribute, in on a lonely stage, in an empty theatre. Dimash struggles to get through it. He sings in again beautifully at his digital concert, but the earlier rendition is exquisitely painful to watch.
@@RambossTheTerrible not really painful, but deeply emotional for sure. A phenomenal rendition, you really have to check it out to realize the power of emotion he shares. And although he looks like he struggles at moments, be sure he maintains all his professionalism and the amazing voice control he is legendary for. A great idea for your next reaction, and the lyrics of Quaragym-ai are also great. It's a poem from a father to his daughter that she is about to get married, and the father expresses his love but also his worries concering what the future will hold for his child, if she is gonna be happy etc... When Dimash first ask to sing it, the composer thought he was too young to be able to really grasp and express the deep emotions that a father-daughter bond entails, but when Dimash finally got to sing the song, the composer gave his congratulations....

I enjoyed your reaction. I understand, but disagree with, your comments about "best singer" being subjective. If you think of singing as the skill it is, in terms of vocal ability, vocal agility, vocal flexibility etc. and not about whether the type of voice or music is something you personally like, then I think it's fairly safe to say that, out of any vocalist I'm currently aware of, Dimash is quite simply the best. He can do things that nobody else seems to be able to do, and make it look easy. If you're looking at it related solely to the actual ability level of known vocalists, there is no-one better. Then add in his connection to every song he sings, how he puts all of himself into every performance, how much he loves and appreciates his fans, and what a genuinely good and decent person he is - just the icing on the cake really. I can completely see where you’re coming from. You seem to be looking at it from an almost scientific perspective, breaking down his skills and technique, but I see it as more of an art piece. I think you would agree that music is art and art is subjective therefore music is subjective. I guess the way I see it is like this, Dimash could be the worlds sweetest, juiciest, peach in the world. No peach is like it. But someone out there just doesn’t like peaches. That doesn’t change that the fact that the peach IS the best peach in the world, but to that one person who just doesn’t like peaches, it doesn’t matter. Subjectively, from the guys point of view, that peach just sucks. Don’t get me wrong, I love peaches but I can’t say someone definitively is the best, end of story, throw the key away. Even with other types of musical artists, such as pianists, there is always going to be someone who is objectively better (or the current known best, in terms of pure ability), even if their type of music, or way of performing doesn't personally touch you on a deeper level, and you prefer to listen to a different pianist. In terms of sports, there may objectively be someone who is the best in terms of kicking goals, however there may be someone else who isn't quite as good but who is a fan-favourite. Kicker A is still 'objectively' the best in terms of that skill, but others may have a personal preference for Kicker B - which makes him 'subjectively' their favourite. I hope that makes sense! Sometimes things get lost in translationon the internet. Believe me, I listen to music for the pure joy it can bring, or the energy it can give me to push through a workout, or if I need a good cry to just "get it out" - very rarely will I sit down and analyse it, as I'm not a vocal coach, or a student of music. But I do appreciate someone who has worked hard their whole life to reach unheard of levels of skill, and, rather than sitting back and going "that's good enough", continues to spend hours each day pushing themselves to learn more, try new things, and further develop an already extraordinary talent. Hates a strong word, more of of an over-exaggerated annoyance. I have memories as a young kid of people holding their phones up in front of my face, blocking my view and it left me feeling some sort of way about it ever since. Someone did mention it’s good sometimes because you can watch good personal videos you wouldn’t see on a professional version, which I did not think about while I was making this video and is a very good point, I think.
Dimash will find all the meaning in a song, and reveal its heart on a much deeper level than the lyrics do. He really doesn't even need lyrics to do it, as we see in a song like "Ave Maria". He can move a strong man to tears without a single word. Thank you for your sincerity in sharing Dimash with us. (You should have a *lot* more subscribers, and I believe you will as more Dimash fans discover your reactions.)
You’re right about the phone recording but...thanks to that we have great fan videos with unforgettable moments that will never be shown in official videos. Make a reaction on composition Olimpiko, Dimash sings it in an operatic baritone. Just choose a vid from his solo concert in Astana (June 2019) pls.

This is a gorgeous performance and one of my favorites. But I think you've heard his lowest (current) notes in Stranger. He's still young. I'm told deeper voices typically mature around 38. He's what? 27? I'm shocked that he's gone as low as he has over the last two years.

He mesmerizes you and pulls you into the emotion that washes over you, without understanding a word, you’re transfixed and transported by his voice and emotion. I am definitely subscribed, a Dear/Pentaholic/ Home Fry, but I have to say that Dimash is the most incredible performer I’ve ever seen/heard, I really prefer to watch his performances than just listen, so much emotion is relayed by his face and composure, he’s actually quite overwhelming ❤️

@@RambossTheTerrible Hi, thanks for replying. Nice to be able to have civil discourse 🙂 It seems like you're more talking about "personal favourite" (or preference), as opposed to objectively "best". Even with other types of musical artists, such as pianists, there is always going to be someone who is objectively better (or the current known best, in terms of pure ability), even if their type of music, or way of performing doesn't personally touch you on a deeper level, and you prefer to listen to a different pianist. In terms of sports, there may objectively be someone who is the best in terms of kicking goals, however there may be someone else who isn't quite as good but who is a fan-favourite. Kicker A is still 'objectively' the best in terms of that skill, but others may have a personal preference for Kicker B - which makes him 'subjectively' their favourite. I hope that makes sense! Sometimes things get lost in translationon the internet. Believe me, I listen to music for the pure joy it can bring, or the energy it can give me to push through a workout, or if I need a good cry to just "get it out" - very rarely will I sit down and analyse it, as I'm not a vocal coach, or a student of music. But I do appreciate someone who has worked hard their whole life to reach unheard of levels of skill, and, rather than sitting back and going "that's good enough", continues to spend hours each day pushing themselves to learn more, try new things, and further develop an already extraordinary talent.

😂🤣 Maybe some people can multi-task better than others. I don't understand why some people get so upset at what other people are doing at events. People choosing to record a memory for themselves, don't have any effect on anyone else. The hate is very silly to me.
Hates a strong word, more of of an over-exaggerated annoyance. I have memories as a young kid of people holding their phones up in front of my face, blocking my view and it left me feeling some sort of way about it ever since. Someone did mention it’s good sometimes because you can watch good personal videos you wouldn’t see on a professional version, which I did not think about while I was making this video and is a very good point, I think.

Dimash will find all the meaning in a song, and reveal its heart on a much deeper level than the lyrics do. He really doesn't even need lyrics to do it, as we see in a song like "Ave Maria". This is a gorgeous performance and one of my favorites. But I think you've heard his lowest (current) notes in Stranger. He's still young. I'm told deeper voices typically mature around 38. He's what? 27? I'm shocked that he's gone as low as he has over the last two years.

Thank you for your reaction ❤️. I have never translated the lyrics for this, I don’t need to know them, Dimash is without question the best vocal storyteller that I have ever heard. He mesmerizes you and pulls you into the emotion that washes over you, without understanding a word, you’re transfixed and transported by his voice and emotion. I am definitely subscribed, a Dear/Pentaholic/ Home Fry, but I have to say that Dimash is the most incredible performer I’ve ever seen/heard, I really prefer to watch his performances than just listen, so much emotion is relayed by his face and composure, he’s actually quite overwhelming ❤️
