When’s best time to plant vegetables
Really depends where you are located in New Zealand we are in the South Island so we aim for seedlings to be ready by the end of October for planting in the garden around mid November…big and tough enough to take or withstand the last of the cold that may come on. I will even go as far as covering them with garden cloth to keep them warm 😉
In the North Island particularly Eastern Bay of Plenty area we would plant our seedlings out as early as early to mid October, hope that helps
