When I was working (I'm retired), I would occasionally come into possession of fresh flowers at meetings or other business related functions that were given to whoever wanted to take them home when the event they were decorating had concluded. I always took some home to my wife. I'd say: "I got you some flowers!" Invariably, my wife would get a little smile on her face and say: "I bet you got them for free." I would reply; " Well, yeah, but I got them for YOU!" It was kind of a little joke between us. 😊

BX is an old outdated term. MC cable can be used outdoors, while BX cannot. Additionally, MC cables do not have a limit on the number of conductors they can contain, whereas BX cables can hold up to four insulated conductors.
As an electrician - all we have used is MC cable ( Metal Clad )
After watching you struggle with that big metal doo-hickey at the beginning of the video Mike, all I could think was "You need a lift gate for Betty White". Good video none-the-less.

My guess for that first thing is that it is used to take professional product photos. You could place an item on the glass turntable and get a nice even diffuse lighting through the back. It could even be used for those fancy 360 degree photos that you see on some websites.
That red bbq I can imagine the wife saying, Honey we need a new bbq! And the husband saying, nah we can bbq one more time on it!! Lol!

That first thing you found looks like a rotating light table for doing 3D object scans. The curved back light panel is known as a cyclorama and the turntable allows the object to turn and be photographed from all angles for a full scan.
I was about 40 seconds in and stopped to come here. Thanks! You can always count on Mike's people to know ANYTHING! 💚💚

I've seen 3D scanners that kinda looked like that??? I'm not sure though. Neat item though, no doubt. I'm always amazed what you find....
The flowers.... Yeah, probably a scene of sadness there... Whipped them at the dumpster, they didn't even go in.... Ouch.... Ooof. But now, it will come full circle, Mrs Mike will love them.... Your happy home with rescued dogs will be a warmer place.... And the circle is complete.... It's a beautiful thing....
