  • Lens color plays a pivotal role in your success as an angler. The ability to filter out or enhance different colors in the spectrum and reduce your eye fatigue over the course of your day on the water proves to be incredibly helpful on the water. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first step up to a sunglass display. With that in mind, Rick Mikesell is here to talk about the different sunglass lens colors that Costa Del Mar offers and which situations they are best suited for.

    Thank you for the video.
I have a question: I see that you were glasses as I do. Do you have prescription polarized glass for the river?
    Thank you,
    Mike.

Do you recommend the green mirror with copper base sunglasses for everyday activities outside of fishing? If not, what do you recommend?

Thank you for doing this. What do you recommend for prescription glasses? Does Costa Del Mar offer prescription lens?

Polarization might be screwy going thru two lenses. I got prescription shades which are meh, and contacts to go with high end shades.

Rose / amber is my favorite color lens, too dark and I can't see much of anything. Shooting glasses I prefer smoke or yellow

Your link to finding these sucks. I even typed it into the search function with no success. Fail. Why no link directly to Costa sunglasses on your site.

Costa glasses are totally crap compared to Smith glasses.
I hv had over a 100 people wearing Costa glasses look through my smiths and take their Costas back and buy Smith Polarized fishing glasses with copper color lense in Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, etc....
    Costa sucks!!!!!!!
