Things I love about Wy; his enthusiasm, ears pricked for every jump and even volunteering to add a jump💕 and I love the relaxed flop back of his ears to catch his 'good job' after every jump.
After all the hurricanes that went through, the grounds look great!! Well ridden, Elisa!! Good job, Wy Wy!!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
I truly love Wyeth. He is such a brave boy and an awesome little jumper. I also love how you talk to him through every fence, tell him how good he is. He forgives you for calling him a girl.
I love that Wyeth was really wanting to take that extra jump! I guess as a wild horse he made a lot of his own decisions & he's learning now that Elisa makes the decisions. I expect it you let him choose he'd want to try ALL the jumps. So steady & eager!
I noticed that Elisa directed Wyeth away from the jump at 4:10 and it got me curious. Is there a set path and jumps you want to go over during cross-country? Does this course in particular have multiple routes for different cross country levels? Or does the rider decide which or how many jumps they go over during their ride? I only rode horses when I was young, but I've always had a passion for them and would like to know a little bit more about the sport I'm watching if anyone has any knowledge around it. Thank you! (P.S. Because tone is hard to read on the internet, I just want to clarify that I'm just curious and would like to know more about cross country as these videos are fascinating and somewhat of a comfort to me)
@@hazies6512 we have a set course and each level has a set of colors(Wy was training level so white on black) while Fifi was prelim(white on green). I thought I could do an inside turn coming out of the water, but Wy locked on to the modified skinny so I had to change my line. The lines and routes for jumps are up to the rider as long as it’s safe. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps!!

Honestly, I don't know how you do it! Wyeth is just wonderful and so are you.
My goodness, he loves his job ❤
Well, that was right down fun to watch. I wanted to jump that Modified after the water too (seemed logical).
Love his stubby, expressive ears and what a honest boy he is!
Ouu he was well up for that 😂, well steadied and directed. Love Wy ❤
His mane looks lush as well!
Wy has game!
He locked onto that jump coming out of the water and was like what do you mean no we jump.
